I seem to have a continual battery drain through (underbonnet) fuse 15. With the fuse in I get a current of .24 amps rising to .45 amps for a few seconds then back to .24. With fuse removed drain is 0.01 amps.

I have tried removing inside fuses to narrow down the drain, but cannot get back to 0.01 amps. I think it maybe the entertainment system, which seems to have multiple fuses, but they are not obvious.
Has anyone any ideas how to chase this down?

At the risk of sounding obvious, what actually stops working when you remove this fuse?

Doesn't your fusebox have an illustration of what this fuse is for?

What year/exact model do you have?

Someone else had a similar problem (caused slow starting from the discharged battery) and it turned out to be his hands-free phone.
 
Well, most of the interior stops.
Radio, Nav screen, interior lights, tailgate, locking system, and without the screen working, it's hard to control the ventilation system as well. Fuse 15 in the handbook is Back Up / ACC
This seems to go to fuses 9,8,7,6,5 4 and maybe some others on the inside. Pulling the radio nav one inside does not fully stop the drain, but pulling 15 does.

Does the Nav unit have a backup battery internally which might have failed?, I cannot see other than retaining the GPS position & radio settings why it should take so much current, or there are other things on the fuse I cannot find. Does anyone have a full circuit diagram ?

take out your cigarette lighter and see if the draw drops - do you have anything connected to the accessory socket inside the front armrest?

Long shot but did you ever resolve the issue?
 
It’s always the Bluetooth module, never seen it caused by anything else.
