An inflammatory ***le I grant you, but I'm well peeved!

I was at work today so got the missus to bid on THIS. She phoned me a minute or so before it was due to end. Her finger hovering over the 'confirm' button (so I thought :( ). Less than ten seconds to go and I command her to release my bid of £80.00 and 'click'..........Hello Houston we appear to have a problem!

She'd only done the 'place bid' and not 'confirm' so hey-ho. It timed out and my boring old bus stays,...........well, boring! :angry:
 
Dude - you need to get some sniper software... have you an android phone?

No mate. An android wife might be an upgrade I'd consider though! :D




What do you reckon to the grille? Nicey nicey or just okay? Should I be gutted?
 
For that grille, the edge would need dechroming... but it is nice.


If you want to snipe from a PC try the Gixen website.

Never failed with it :D.

She did you a favour dude, the Type S grill will be that much new from Holcroft. I remember buying the Sport Diesel grill (identical but for a diesel) for around £80 delivered from them. You just transfer your old badge and chrome surround over.
 
Also if you checked out his negative feedback alot of peeps not getting their parts.
 
Agree with that feedback rating leave well alone.
 
I'm also tempted to change the ***le to Women = Very Useful ;)

Fear not, as you guys said looking at his feedback she probably did me a favour! As it goes I won THIS tonight which correct me if I'm wrong is the same grille just not as 'bigged up' in the ad?
 
Well done, but I hope for your sake your car is a diesel ;) That's a bargain by the way.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh! No it's not! Please don't tell me the grilles are different petrol & diesel?
 
Fraid so :(

The top panels are different on both cars as the bonnet release catch is in slightly different places on the petrol and diesel.. therefore the aperture on the top of your diesel grill will be in the wrong place on your petrol car.

For what you paid though, you could probably make a small profit and sell it on here. I would have happily paid £80 for a used sport diesel grill when I needed one. They are in demand trust me.

Thanks mate. Already done! Gutted tbh, though guess there was no guarantee the one the missus failed to bid on would have fitted!
 
Actually that would have ;) Just get her to do the bidding and buying.. she's obviously better at it :lol:

Started reading this thread and couldn't stop laughing. My wife said you need a sniper for your wife not your phone! :D Which for her is quite quick.
