    Clock issue since new year

There is a way to do an over the air system update. I’ve done it twice in the past, one as an attempt to cure this exact clock problem. While that attempt didn’t solve it, the software came was delivered and installed.

    Clock issue since new year

Mine’s working as of this evening! manually able to adjust the clock through the Satnav to the exact correct time on the way home from work……at last! So Honda must’ve come good with their promised update.

    Clock is one hour out

Looks like the promised Honda August update has actually happened! I’ve managed to reset mine. How this came about was that, after experiencing months of my clock being precisely 1hour and 3 minutes slow, I noticed this morning that it was only 1 hour slow (the extra 3 minutes missing. It also...

    Clock setting woes

I've got exactly the same going on with my 05 EX facelift. It used to hold the time to the second with the BBC Radio pips, but then went about 2 minutes slow. After last weekends switch to BST, my clock is 1 hour and 2 minutes slow, with no means of adjustment. Really annoying!

    2007 Accord fails to start

This may be of no help at all, but my 2005 facelift EX kept having a flat battery about half a dozen times! The solution came from very helpful advice on the forum; Long story short, the non working Bluetooth module in the dash was causing a current drain overnight, so I opened up the dash...

Impressed with my mpg, what's yours?

Now that I’d like to see! Maybe that’s another topic for the forum! ‘How low can you make your trip computer mpg go? I’d love to do the remap, but I fear the clutch and DMF wouldn’t take it, so I’ve left it alone. I gather it’s very impressive though, especially the work that F8HAD and Premier...

Impressed with my mpg, what's yours?

Regarding my earlier post, I should’ve mentioned that I no longer speed at all, so I’m at a cruise controlled 70 mph on motorways. If I occasionally give it some boot, the figure drops dramatically. I decided to stop speeding as I was fed up with getting points on my licence, and this way I...

Impressed with my mpg, what's yours?

Just done a trip from Derby to mid Sussex and back via Horley in Surrey in facelift EX Saloon at a total mileage of 478 miles. Trip computer says 55.2mpg. Now I’ve had my car for over 3 years and done 61,000 miles, and I’ve found that the trip computer overreads by 4 mpg every time, so that...

DIY 7th Gen Pre-Facelift Diesel Fuel Filter Change

Just wanted to let Matt and anyone thinking about having a go at the diesel filter replacement that I followed Matt's excellent instructions on how to do it this Wednesday. What a write-up!! It took me 4 hours from start to finish, and worked perfectly! My 54 plate Exec had been going into limp...

Face Lift Accord Diesel - a good buy?

Hi Folks I've not posted anything on here for a while, which is very remiss of me, but I've had nothing to really report on my 54 ctdi. My Accord's reached 184k after I bought it in 2010 with 89k. Since then, I've had the Clutch/DMF issue - the replacement of which was helped enormously by...

    Lighting Problems

Oh Alright!! Suffice to say I won't be crossing Lookers Honda Derby's threshold as long as I have holes in my nose!
