I have a bit of holiday coming up so looking at ripping out the cl9 gearbox and replacing the clutch and also looking into getting hold of an ep3 gearbox and do the gear swap at the same time. Also Is there a Lightened flywheel avaliable for the cl9? Is it worth getting one? As for ep3 gears...

Hello all are the rear crash bars prone to rotting away? Took my rear bumper off the other week to find out there's not really much left of mine. Okay it's a 53 plate but still surly there still meant to be pretty solid.

Well so far so good! Gave the vtec solenoid parts a good clean up so far so good no light and all is working well. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Okay cheers for that, atleast it's not a big job. Will have a check and give it a clean then let you know if it's solved the problem

Haven't tried anything else other than try and clean the sensors and check for places water could have gotten into, first one that didn't work has a crack in it and the 2nd one has a rubber insert on one of the sides that has split. So only ***uming water has gotten into them and finished them...

Cheers for that lads just needed conformation =). Will get looking for front and rear camber arms now then. Is it worth getting the adjustable ball joints also? be looking at getting a fast road set up once I've finished part hoarding and put it all onto the car.

Just bought a set of buddyclub n+ dampers for my cl9, is it a good idea to now get front and rear camber arms to aid with the wheel alignment set up once they are fitted?
