And here I am a year later also trying to find out.how to remove the rear seat out of a Tourer. Loads of videos and how-to guides all over the internet for removing a saloon seat, but I cNt find anything on the tourer. Anyone got any tips or info? I'm trying to lever off various plastic trims...

I think I'm going to try replacing the alternator. The new one that went on it is an aftermarket one, which can apparently cause issues, can anyone tell me the brand and model number of the OE alternator so I can search for one?

Yeah I know that one, and I disconnected the Bluetooth module years ago. But this isn't a parasitic drain issue anyway. It will start after being stood for several days. It just isn't charging some of the time.

In case anyone comes across this issue, check the voltage at the battery and then check the voltage from the alternator to earth. They should be pretty much the same (within 0.1/0.2V or so) Mine were nearly 1V different – 12.9-13.1V at the battery but over 14V at the alternator. A new cable was...

And now it has been running for 10-15 minutes, if I turn the headlamps off, the voltage drops to just over 12v (12.0 - 12.2v). Turning the lights on puts it back up to 13.3v

Thanks, but it's not a parasitic drain, as the battery is flat just a minute or two after having been driven 20+ miles. I guess there is enough juice in it to run the car but not enough left to start it.

I (hopefully) managed to fix it myself. On removing the green socket, one of the pins was loose. A few dabs of solder to reconnect it and on reassembly it all seems to be working fine. Only time will tell

I've got the same issue. When you say put something between the green socket and the casing, do you mean where i has circled red in the picture below? As on mine there is no gap to wedge something into.
