    Windscreen washer jet nozzle

Well I got the jets out, it was a tight squeeze, just about managed to get to the barb and squeeze it out on the drivers side. Soaked in white vinegar and baking soda, then blew through the nozzle from beneath, and the dirt that had been blocking it flew out. Reattached to the rubber pipe and...

    Windscreen washer jet nozzle

Thanks for the replies. Our car is a 2003. I see that ebay link states 2006 to to 2008. Do we know if they changed the design compared to the pre-facelift? It really didn't look like the whole thing came off like that, it looked moulded into the big plastic panel!

    Windscreen washer jet nozzle

Hi All.... My driver's side washer jet appears to be blocked good and proper. Back in 2013, I remember searching on this forum and I found some sort of guide, with photos, as to how to remove the washer jets. I can't find it now though frustratingly! I actually followed the guide at the...

    CJ You are not alone

John Wilkins used to be a Honda dealer and I remember seeing this car many times over the years when we used to get the family Accord serviced there when I was a kid. Loved this car, it was mint and a classic!

    Squeeeeeky clutch pedal

When I bought my Accord I had a persistent squeak from the clutch. The dealer trIed several times to grease it which helped for a short time but always came back. They eventually replaced the clutch master cylinder (after I told them as much after research on the forum) under warranty and all is...

Time to check your tyre pressures

33 front and 32 rear for my 17s, but one had gone down to 22... The reason being I've found a sodding nail in it! quite central though so I'm hoping it can be repaired!

    How Many 8th Gen Owners?

Me too, I took one out for a long drive and man did it shift! Was so so impressed with that car, was a 180bhp diesel tourer in a deep metallic purple sort of colour. Shame there aren't more of them about.

Found out why my headlights mist

I bought my car a couple of months ago from a local Honda dealer (Steels of Hereford). Headlights have been misting in certain conditions. I took photos in and they had the car for the afternoon. Apparently they said the clips were not installed in the correct positions. So, they repositioned...

Well I was hoping for a bit more than this.....

Well it's just something that I I've found over the years, perhaps other people have found different, but I work my fuel economy out every time I fill any of my cars and that is pretty much the story for me. Anyway, here's hoping that you crack the 30 mpg barrier! ;)

Well I was hoping for a bit more than this.....

Well my recently serviced 2.0 i-VTEC managed 33 mpg after my first tank of fuel. That was in the really cold weather and icy/snowy road conditions using normal Shell unleaded. The 2nd tankful was on supermarket petrol (I should know better), and included mainly stop start driving and a few...

    Fuel consumption

Just out of interest what make of petrol do you use? From my own experience of driving Hondas I have found that they seem to be sensitive to the make of petrol. I always work out my fuel consumption and the supermarket fuel that I have used (tesco & sainsburys) always give me lower results than...

    Accord Type V

Type-V was the fully loaded luxury model of the range as opposed to Type-S which is more sporty than luxurious though not overtly sporty like a Type-R.

    Cold morning squeal- HELP!

Indeed. I bought it a month and a half ago from my local Honda dealer. It came with their standard 3 month warranty.

    Clutch pedal creak/click

My car also has the creaking clutch problem - I bought my car from a Honda dealer and they have tried to grease it twice but it came back each time. So they have now agreed to replace the master cylinder - so it's going back in next week to hopefully get sorted!
