    Air Con Compressor Replacement Options

This is what I do - it might work for you. I find out the original Honda Part Number of the part I need. I then do a Google search to find who made the OEM part. I go and buy that part from an Auto Factors (NOT from Honda). Classic example; I needed a new Alternator - so I looked up the...

Good 2nd hand Source of Honda Accord 7th Gen parts? Breakers Yards?

Thanks for the advice. There isn't any vibration or anything like that, and it has just passed its MOT with no advisories. I'd just noticed that the damper was slightly perishing and started to panic. It seems you can get an entire halfshaft for less than £100 (can't remember if Honda still...

Auto folding mirror kit for Honda Accord 7th Gen? Any tips?

No issues at all (fingers crossed :) ) - I don't remember if the auto-electrician needed to add or do anything additional and I was with him pretty much the whole time.

Passenger's Front side light removal - Best way to remove/replace?

In the end it turned out that my bulb was fine, I just gave it a whack :) (I'd been Lanoguard rust protecting my car so I believe it was that which temporarily caused it to not work for a bit).

How to remove a bolt (which just spins) holding the rear bumper beam?

I'm spending the next few days tackling rust on my 2006 Honda Accord - I did the front a couple of weeks ago, and now it's time to do the rear..... (so far, not looking great.....) I've removed the rear bumper, and revealed a very rusty bumper beam. I've tried to get it off and rust protect...

Passenger's Front side light removal - Best way to remove/replace?

Thanks guys, I went and ordered the light bulbs on Amazon, something like £2.49 for a pack of 10 (compared to Honda's price of £32+.....) Looks like I might be able to squeeze my hand in past the battery after all - I'll report back once it's done (MOT due later next week).

Repair or replace rusty rear sub frame?

Oh man, I hope I don't find something as bad as this. I'm currently Lanoguarding my car and am at this very moment about to start doing the rear (I did the front a few weekends ago) - I've been told that the rear is generally worse than the front and I'm already calling my welder to come and...

Passenger's Front side light removal - Best way to remove/replace?

I've just discovered that my front passenger side light is not working - I've watched a couple of YouTube videos but nothing seems to hit the nail. Looks like a tricky job, either taking the battery out (and I'm not convinced you'll get access to the side light bulbs) - or taking the front...

Good 2nd hand Source of Honda Accord 7th Gen parts? Breakers Yards?

I'm noticing my driveshaft "Damper, dynamic" parts (number 44351-SDC-A61) are discontinued and the rubber on mine is perishing..... I'm panicking about the car now because if that's an MOT failure (not sure if the MOT guy will be able to see it anyway with all the underbody liners), the car...

What is this pipe? (looks like it's about to fail if it hasn't already).

Thanks Richard, it's exactly that. 25940-RBA-020 - a Pipe Comp. D, ATF. Another job to add to the list :)

What is this pipe? (looks like it's about to fail if it hasn't already).

I am about to do some rustproofing on my Accord and saw this pipe with some very flaky piping. Any ideas what this pipe is?

    Auxiliary drive belt length

Just to add my 2 cent's worth regarding auxiliary belts as I researched a lot until I got it right, for a 7th Gen Honda Accord 2.4 petrol it'll be a 7PK1751 unless you have electronic power steering in which case it'll be a 7PK1680.

Serpentine Belt is too long (my 2.4 has electronic power steering with a smaller top pulley wheel)

Here is a screen shot showing a typical 7th gen Serpentine belt (not my car) - NOTE the LARGE PULLEY at the top for the Power Steering Pump as this car uses fluid for the PAS) And here is a photo I took yesterday of my car without the Serpentine Belt on - NOTE the size of my Topmost Pulley...

Serpentine Belt is too long (my 2.4 has electronic power steering with a smaller top pulley wheel)

After more investigation, I'm suspecting the topmost pulley wheel..... it's a lot smaller than the ones I've seen on YouTube. (not sure what that pulley wheel is for though as in the videos I've seen it's for the power steering pump, but my Accord has electronic power steering so there is no...

Serpentine Belt is too long (my 2.4 has electronic power steering with a smaller top pulley wheel)

My car, a 2006 mk 7 2.4 petrol and it needs a new serpentine belt, on CoxMotorParts the part that's needed is a code 38920RBBE03 (and costs £65 + delivery). That cost being a bit steep I thought I'd Google an alternative using that part number and Google (and all the car sites) say it's a...
