    H.I.D conversion kits

I've had my (dutch) MOT today, I had to replace my HID's with Halogen lights because of stray light. Because of that I started google-ing some info about reflector headlights and HID lights. I've read some articles about the "new" H7 R or H7 RC HID's. H7 R and RC bulbs are made especially for...

    Coolant advice

I did a little search on the internet and stumbled upon this topic from an US forum: http://www.hstuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3324. The topic states a few differences with "big brand" coolant manufacturers such as the use of organic corrosion inhibitors. Also it states that the Honda...

    Coolant advice

I used this Coolant from Eurol last year: http://www.eurol.com/en/37-products/1732-eurol-coolant-36degc-xl.html Haven't encountered any problems, and I don't know what the difference is with the Honda fluid.

    Wanted: Bose headunit for CG9

Hello demian, I still have a fully working Bose head unit (casette) from a '99 CG9, I replaced it last year with my own radio, and since then it has been stored. Also, I removed my CD changer from the boot, it has always worked perfectly together with the head unit. It lacks the cable to...

    Timing belt change - price?

Here in the Netherlands I can get the timing belt changed, including water pump, and the rolls for a fixed price of €596. Most repair centers charge about €45-50 per hour of labor. I will certainly not try to change it myself for lacking the knowledge and the tools to do this. :-)

    Steering wheel change

Hi guys, After using the ATR steering wheel for a while, which is great :-) I really started to miss my cruise control. Sooooo I've changed back the original UGLY steering wheel. After browsing Ebay for a while I came across an Accord CG4 steering wheel which looks better then the original...

ABS light on, unless ODB plugged in

john_d I had practically the same symptoms. No error codes, sensors OK etc. After reading this topic: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/mobile-forum/8-Service-and-Repair-Questions-Answered-Here/48859-abs-does-not-work-on-1999-accord?limitstart=0, and a few pages from the Honda Service manual I've...

    A/C and engine power loss

Hi Guys, Little update on my screaming alternator belt. After watching a video of testing the Alternator, I did some measurements with a multimeter to confirm a good working alternator. Apparantely the mechanic who checked and adjusted the belt deflection (as he says), torqued the wrong bolt of...

    A/C and engine power loss

I would like to report that I have the same problem as the OP, but for me on the 2.0 liter. I'm trying to diagnose but I'm almost out of options. Here's the symptons: - Starting the car with the A/C off, sometimes in wet weather a little whine from the Alternator / AC belt (not very often). -...

    Replacing the AC Condenser

Hello Nimboy, I don't know what causes the price difference but here in Holland I can get it for about 80 euro's from Hella. So the 150 pound looks like too expensive to me. Hope it helps

    Accord Type R Seats

Hi Dan, Please notice that if your car is equipped with SRS Side Airbags (in the seats) replacing those seats with this beautifull Recaro specimens will trigger an error in your SRS system and stops ALL airbags from deploying on impact. Though not part of your question I couldn't resist to warn...
