Checked with Bilstein and looks like can't have B6 or B8s on Accords with Xenons

Hi, Thinking about getting another 2.4 7th Gen. I would like to upgrade the shocks and springs if I get one. The B12 kit was lovely on my Mazda. On the Bilstein website it says they cant be used with Xenon lights due to the self levelling. Does this apply to all 7th Gen with Xenons ? Thanks

ah yes I remember that was only on auto on 7th gen. I would prefer a manual 2.4 but none in budget. Most 2.4s seem to be autos. The 0-60 is a lot slower for the auto not that I am that bothered. Does the auto have manual override for shifting ?

The only issue I can check other than the usual stuff on a car is the rusty sunroof issue. Any other common issues to look for ? Also, how do you check if the car has the ACC, LKAS and CMBS, is this an option on some trims and standard on others ? Thanks for the help !

the switch has had it , it works ok but where it goes into the white nut thingy there is no purchase so need to replace it. I guess should be fairly easy to replace though read a horror thread where someone didnt install it properly and ruined his brakes. I will try and find a new one tomorrow...

My brake lights are permanently on. The switch I think is broken. Is this just a matter of replacing the switch? Looks like the switch has come loose where is goes into a retaining nut thingy. Appreciate your help here ! This is the part I need to replace I think...

Regarding the DVD issue it could be the unit and not the disk. You can get them refurbed for around £100. Mine has an issue where I get the disk read error straight a away. Then when the DVD player warms up after 10-20 mins it starts to work after reinserting the DVD. Probably a dry solder joint...

Fixed mine by replacing the air con relay, 2 minute fix

undo the wing liner thing, just a few clips and you can squeeze your hand in , not too tricky to do.

Could this be the ballast ? The car wont start now so guess battery dead :(
