Ah should have said it's 230k miles on it now. Yearly services over its lifetime. Possible that the maintenance hasn't been perfect over that time but I'm just surprised I can't seem to find anyone else that's had to change it out.

So my 2009 es gt is developing an ever increasing rattle, from what seems to be the timing chain. Searching this forum I cant find many other threads where anyone has had to replace the timing chain. I know they don't have a service interval and are supposed to last the lifetime of the car...
