Hi channel, mine doesn't have dpf, however I will get some cleaner. I basically used the car for work, about 24 miles a day round trip. I drive quite relaxed so always needs a blasting before MOT. Ill take the egr pipe off and have a look at what carbon build up there is.

Thanks channel, stupid me of course no need to change the glow plugs. No new noises, engine is a peach really it's just perhaps I'd like it more responsive. Haha yes the engine is just broken in, I'd love to get it over 300,000. I think what I'll do is an egr clean, replace the 4 metal gaskets...

Yes always Bosch. Oil and air filter cheap ones, change oil twice year. Think firstly perhaps sort the egr and glow plugs.

Change fuel filter once a year before MOT, so it's 6 months old. Do glow plugs make a difference? Potentially been in there for a very long time. Probably thinking of cleaning the egr, reckon that's clogged up, I do drive quite pedestrian until the MOT.

Honda want 1600 plus for me to supply a matrix as they no longer supply them. I appreciate the labour costs on this and perhaps an independent would come in cheaper.

Well finally I get a leak, I know what's involved in replacing this and it's something I cannot attempt. Does anyone know the cost to replace this at honda or an independent. Anyone tried stop leak products. I'm not worried about the heat it's been blocked for 5 years anyway. Thanks

Keep at it mate, these are small problems and all your hoses are on eBay. The engines are too good. Until something major goes I'll be doing my best to keep it on the road.
