One of the sunroof's popup wind deflector's leaf springs (passenger side) is rusting. I want to remove this piece of rusty metal and treat the rust to prevent it rusting any further and snapping. Has anyone dis-***embled the wind deflector ? Tips ?

The above part is for front passenger side (on a right hand drive car). This fixed it for me. Prob was... Sunroof not working Boot button not working Mirror not working. Driver controls for windows not working for non driver windows.
