Hi csak1981, yes mine is an auto. Not sure about the manual version.

Nothing came out whilst changing the driveshafts. And I’m a bit OCD with checking the ATF level regularly, and do a drain/fill every 15k (yearly) to keep the fluid fresh. So I’m not sure really what was causing it.

@Blippi did you manage to find out whether the face-lift lights fit the pre face lift? I have headlights without the orange reflector, but not with the DRL’s.

Well not sure what has happened, but I took the car for a drive yesterday after replacing driveshafts on both sides, and the noise seems to have disappeared?! Also the shaking/juddering has now been completely eliminated thankfully

I managed to do it in the end, just needs a good whack with a hammer and chisel to get it free. Passenger side was much easier using a crowbar leveraging between the axle and gearbox. No fluid was lost on either side. Hope that helps.

Hi all, I replaced the passenger side without any issues. However on the drivers side I can’t seem to remove the old driveshaft. Where it connects to the intermediate shaft, it just won’t budge. Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks F6HAD, the belt was changed last year so should be good. I’ll take a look at the pulley over the weekend
