All previous hatch versions have been an ugly brother to the saloon, even going back to the 1st Gen. I think the only future prospect of a hatch type Accord would be a coupe version.

Lol, i was working on the ***umption that the dealer will charge you for a 4 hour job but actually complete it half the time....so four times the hourly rate, with half of it lining pockets as pure profit......perhaps i'm a bit too cynical :lol:

Honestly I don't like them. New Mercs look like someone has put one over their knee, pushed down on the front and rear and bent them in the middle. Merc interiors have always been a sea of plastic and look tacky, surprising as they are marketed as an executive car. And grey leather is just...

Do people still honestly believe that a main dealer service history adds value to a car? As long as the correct service has been carried out at the correct intervals, then that is what counts. My car had a mixture of servicing by the Honda main stealers and by VTEC Direct. I was much more...

Yup, as those pictures prove, all really ugly, dull and uninspiring, the Merc being the ugliest. Subaru is the least ugly, but that is no reason for buying one. Jags are a bit better looking, not sure how reliable they are these days though and probably pricey on maintenance.

Mercs are uninspiring and ugly. If I had no choice but to go German, then the only choice would be an Audi. There aren't many cars about these days that stand out from the crowd and are desirable. When you want reliable too, the choice gets even smaller. The Legacy ain't a bad shout, but...

Dealer service usually means an expensive job carried out by an apprentice overseen every so often by the workshop manager. I prefer to use a qualified and experienced independent. When I took my car to the Honda local dealer they confessed they don't know much about ATRs

My 5G (F20Z1) would see circa 220 miles from full tank to petrol light. My ATR sees 210 or 200 from full to petrol light (circa £70) and this time of year more like 180/190. Cold weather and short journeys is a nightmare.
