2.2 Clutch and Dual Mass Flywheel

So how do you tell if when you replace the clutch that the DMF needs replacing? JCB Honda Ashford Rock, they were great when they did my timing chain under warranty... Steve

    Headlight Washers

Yes it works fine. I've done this on my 7th gen accord, I din't miss them at all and they don't freeze in the out position (even with -60 halfords neat screenwash!) Steve

    Tourer rear Brake change

Dan, if you managed the disc/hub swop refurbing the calliper would be a breeze. BigRed do pistons and a seal kit for a rezsonable price or complete refurbished callipers for £180 pair Steve

    tourer rear brake shenanigans!

Had a similar issue on my OSR one took me 2 hours just to get the disc/hub off. Keep an eye on the hold down pins on the parking brakes. If the ends of the pin is worn they wont be held by the small leaf type spring. Thos will jam the shoe against the hub making it sifficult to get off. I ended...

    Wiper blades

Take off the plastic clip on the wiper arm (drivers side, small Phillips screw) and buy a set from Honda at £25 (Honda Happiness Fixed Price) for a 2006 (facelift model) they are the flat aero ones and are a 200% improvement. I have them on my 2005 tourer and won't be going back to the old type...

    Tourer rear Brake change

Typical timing, did mine last week!, however I also did the OSR flexible hose and stripped the calliper and fitted replacement seals. Its not at all difficult and the worst bit was getting the disc/hub off the parking brake shoes (beware of the small hold down pins for each shoe, if they detach...

    Intermittent Air-Con Issue

I has this recently, had it re-gassed but still the same. turned out to be leaking from the pipe entry and exit pipes on the air-con pump. Seals were £3.65 each plus an hours labour (JCB Honda Ashford) this included a free re-gas. On the first re-gas they added some UV dye so were able to see...
