    Clutch problems

I would suggest that your first step should be the bleed the clutch hydraulic system. When doing so check for leaks and also see if any flexibly pipes are in good condition (not ballooning). If things improve, likely air was in system, if problem returns your need to find source.

    DMF :(

To confirm F6HAD post Honda replaced my DMF under warranty and the original and replacement were both LUK

Clutch grinding noise at top of pedal

Hiten Without hearing and feeling the fault, any feedback is entirely a guess. If the noise only occurs when you lightly press the clutch pedal 1" you are bringing together the release bearing and pressure plate fingers. It sounds like either the bearing or perhaps a pressure plate finger may...

    i-CTDI blocked catalytic converter?

The usual test for a blocked exhaust is to measure back pressure at the engine end of things, though if your pumping out black smoke I would bet on something else eg Turbo not putting enough air into engine to match mapped fuelling.

    Tailgate issues

I seem to recall that certain tailgate motors were subject to an extended warranty from Honda UK as the motor clutch failed early. There was a range of VIN's affected, face lift versions had a different motor fitted

7th Gen Estate body parts 2nd hand

Breakeryeard.com would be my choice. You post the part you want and the web site contacts every scrap yard member on your behalf, if they have the parts they email you with price

    Turbo CDTI issues

Check the turbo hoses, whistling is usually due to a split hose especially if you have no logged error codes

    Brake disc screws

The disc screws are fitted to ensure that the discs are held firmly to the hub. With the wheels fitted the car in my opinion is no dangerous to drive, however whenever the wheels are removed there is the possibility that debri may get between the disc and hub flange which would lead to brake...

    Engine oil in Coolant

As its been said before, head gaskets are a rare failure scenario unless the car has been severely overheated previously. I would go for the oil cooler myself, take it out and dry it as best you can. Then fill the water side with water and apply a pressure to this and watch for any leakage from...

    Accord 04 CDTi starting problems

In the absence of any specific fault codes I would follow Crespo's advice and go for the crank sender. These often fail when they get warm, but when they cool the windings join up again no problem. There is usually also no fault codes when they start to go wrong in my experience as the ECU...

Accord Tourer 2004 Tailgate Struts Replacement Guide

Gents As some of you may remember my Tourer Tailgate was failing to hold open during the cold weather last winter, so I set about replacing the Tailgate Gas Struts this afternoon. The Gas Struts mentioned previously from SGS are no longer available, apparently these struts often failed during...

    diagnose cracked manifold

Guys Is there a "Usual" mileage or time period for the manifolds to crack? My car is a 56 plate with 48K miles, took off the heat shield today and everything was spotless. Got a year to go on extended HUK warranty period, just wondering if the manifold is likely to go this year, or if it...

    Clutch info again

From memory Honda marked the outside of the flywheel in relation to the bellhousing to create a datum point. You then turn the DMF to see how much free movement is there, I think that the tolerance is somewhere between 6mm - 25mm, the exact measurments are in a previous post of mine. There is...

    Clutch info again

No way of really providing any meaningful guidance until you have removed the gearbox and clutch to inspect flywheel surface and check for movement. If both are within tolerance then I would just change the clutch
