Gear change problems

Hi lads, I have scoured the forum and read many topics on gear box and clutch problems only to further confuse myself. The problem is at idle sometimes the car won't go into first so I pump the clutch twice to get it in, also at high rpm 4k and upward I have to forcefully change gears as the car...

I thought about it when the exhaust on my 2.4 was blowing I got a quote of £360 cat back from the bloke at my local powerflow. Check em out.

So I was passing Sainsburys the other day in my near empty 2.4 accord, and decided to try the super. Priced at 138.9 I put in £55 and with mixed driving a roads/motorway at 70, I got 308 miles then the fuel light appeared. Approx 35mpg not bad for a 2.4! What experiences have others had?

I also change the oil every six months/6k whatever's earlier.
