    Battery replacement - 2006, facelift, Accord, 2.4 petrol, 4-door

Just an update:- Replaced it with a Yuassa battery. £60. Watch out for the nut on the VE+ terminal, you will need a socket with an extension to access it. I attached an old battery so that I didn't loose any of the settings. Thanks for your help.

    Battery replacement - 2006, facelift, Accord, 2.4 petrol, 4-door

Yes, have tried that, tna. It's got to the point where if I leave it for 5 days then it's 50/50 whether it will start or not. So doesn't require changing immediately. Is it possible to top up the battery, even thou they are "maintenance free"? (its a genuine Honda battery)

DCT (Dual Clutch Transmissions) automatic gearboxes

Hello This isn't necessarily about Honda parts, but a general question Some of the newer cars have DCT gearboxes. Reading about them, they seem to be basically 2 manual gearboxes in one housing. Therefore, the 2 clutches. There is no manual clutch pedal next to the brake pedal. The gear shifts...

sometimes the balancing weights drop off the wheel (especially the glue type). It happened to me while I was at Quick-fitup. As the chap was rolling the tyre to the car (after balancing) one of the weight fell off. He didn't even know it had, and i had to make him do it all again. Worth double...

Do you have the same car? (2.4 petrol Facelift). If so, please provide a photo of the cap &...
