    Head Gasket Selection

these head bolts are reusable(if within spec), and you torque them to angle rather than torque to yield which stretches the bolt and typically instructions for these would give you a specific torque target for all steps rather than torque + angle so you would torque these to 49nm, then start...

Charging woes on 2007 Accord CDTI

well, looking at the wiring diagram in the ESM, the ELD's function looks to be(true to its name) detecting electric load and then signaling the ecm to trigger charging signal if conditions are met it's worth a shot, hopefully it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. ESM states it is integral to the...

Brake upgrade - do CRV twin piston calipers fit?

yeah they'll fit, but bolt size may be different despite pattern being identical, and the bracket may be offset differently requiring a spacer behind the disc, or washers between the bracket and dog leg - depending on which way it is offset the brakes thread is still relevant and mostly up to...

Leaky Injector Seal - 2006 Honda Accord ICTDI (N22a1 Engine)

if you catch them early these don't tend to be that bad, the service interval is 50 000km anyway. Just done 4 on gfs sedan and they all came out with a wiggle once the forks were out, though she did take it for a longish drive beforehand. didn't let the engine cool before disassembly I know...

    Tow bar fitting mk7 saloon

the rear frame rails on these are capped so unless it replaces the rear crash bar I'm pretty sure you'll have to snake some locking plates with studs through the big holes under the rails. it'll be clear as day when you receive the kit anyhow

    Front damper bolt removal?

nah the strut mount is held in place by the weight of the car and nothing below it can squeeze past it unless the bottom bushing is totally crumbled. in which case you need it out anyway you'll be fine, just don't lift the car :p

    Accord 2.0 2007

if you just want to inspect it, you can do that under the rear seat, should just be able to get to the sending unit with the sock filter on it should you need it dropped all the way, the subframe has to come down as it cradles the tank and it's about a 2hr job if you have a lift and tools and...

First image is the D2S projector housing and reflector bowl - will take better pictures next time I have my lamps out - need to adjust rotation you can see that the cutoff shield is not a detachable part on the reflector bowl but rather an integral part of the projector lens housing the...

    Replacement headlights

^the h1 and d2s projectors have the same form factor but are built different. both are clamshells though. h1 has a loose shield held in place by a phillips or jis head screw on the reflector bowl side of the projector. d2s has a shield integral to the lens housing casting the projector lens...

Help to identify the cause of this noise please?

it must be the mothership proximity warning but joking aside, the noise seems to be directly affected by engine rpm, is it a "physical" noise/function of resonance or is it coming through your speakers(think interference/bad ground)? quickest and easiest thing to do is to take your aux belt off...

    Replacement headlights

that's a very tall order, they may be made in china or taiwan, but are only sold in the canada and the states. worth mentioning the projector takes a d2s bulb so if yours has the stock H1 projectors you'll need a HID conversion kit as well you can do a rhd projector swap if you're dead set on...
