Where to get 2.4 tourer exhaust

There are no off the shelf options as far as performance exhausts go for the tourer. It's a different design the saloon (for which there are several options). You may be able to get a blueprint copy. Failing that your options are to go to a custom exhaust place to make you one or go to Honda. I...

    Glitch in The Matrix?

There's currently updates and server migrations going on behind the scenes. Expect the forum to be a little odd while the work is carried out. Not sure how long it's going to take, but shouldn't be too long.

    noise setting off

My Clutch Release Bearing has intermittently squealed like this for about 100,000 miles... I think typically, it isn't really anything major to worry about, especially if it's not impacting on the clutch's overall performance. It's a small inexpensive part, but a massive job as you have to...

January 2019 - Forum Spring Clean

Hey guys, Last year we encountered serious spam problems due to the forum software being outdated. This forced us to suspend new user sign-ups until we updated the forum software. We attempted to upgrade immediately, however this has turned out to be more problematic than we expected. One of...

    Tailgate creaking

There are many awesome threads for DIY repairs, but photo bucket nuked them all with it's pay to have your pictured hosted as an embedded imaged scheme. Totally wiped out thousands of internet forums everywhere. I believe if you click on the pictures in question, it should lead you to the photo...

ULEZ - Ultra Low Emission Zone

Avatars aren't always clear on mobiles, especially if you're viewing in browser as apposed to the tapa talk app. So perhaps there in lies the misunderstanding. Let's move on to more positive on-topic discussion.

ULEZ - Ultra Low Emission Zone

To sum up the above comments, it would appear diesel accords are charged, petrols are exempt. I just checked my petrol, it's exempt. It's not overly clear, but from looking at the website, my interpretation is that I don't think it includes the 406. Let's keep it on topic, yeah .

    Yeah, mine is rotten...

    Shock absorbers

It all gets a bit gnarly and seized up under the car when they get over ten years old. I'd recommend budgeting for some cutting out if seized bolts and possibly replacing any bushes that are close or involved the swap.

    Shock absorbers

Certain OEM parts are just really expensive, no real explanation for it... I think you'll be fine to go with either of those brands you mention. They're all reasonably well known and have decent reputations. Personally, I'd go with Bilstein as several people on here have replaced with...

    No hot air

Oh, and I should have explained, that switch is the open/closed switch that lets hot water from the engine to circulate around the heater matrix in the cabin. It's stuck on shut, that's all.

    No hot air

Yes, there's a cable that goes through into the engine bay. Look for a cable (I think mine's blue) that comes through the fire wall. There's a loop on the end of the cable that goes around a motorised switch. That switch seized on mine as it was covered in dirt and muck. A generous spray with...

    How many active members now?

There are still a few regulars, but there's no taking away from the fact the forum is still a large resource of info. With their age, there will be less Accords on the road, and those looking to fix will probably be able to find the info they want without having to create new posts. Also, we...

    Window Master Switch

I can believe that. And to be honest, a window master switch is highly unlikely to change across petrol/diesel platforms, isn't it!
