The problem with the lambda probe

I highly doubt a universal lambda will work, these cars are extremely fussy with what o2 sensor you put in, some brands won't work at all, NGK is the right brand but I dont know what model you need for the F23, sometimes nothing will work apart from OEM sensor, it can a draw of luck with them.

The problem with the lambda probe

Are you using the same lambda sensor that was on 2.0 engine? If you are then you probably need to use one for 2.3 engine.

    EGR Plate Clean (F18B2)

The composition of the fuel is different, BP Ultimate (excluding the additives) is 100% petrol (for now, will probably change in the future), all other petrol sold in the UK have ethanol in them which is bad for the longevity of the engine, they eat up seals etc in the engine. IMO BP Ultimate is...

    EGR Plate Clean (F18B2)

Great guide, I should do mine as its developed some hesitancy. Also V-power is useless on these cars, they aren't programmed to run 98/99 octane fuel, 97 is the highest you can use on these, and BP Ultimate is the best to use.
