    Battery - Negative Earth Connections

Be aware that the electrons travel on the outside of the wire and that a corroded and dirty wire will effectively reduce current carried on a wire. I would make a new one from welding cable and get it crimped or solder it with some flux, this might make a more significant difference.

    I love my Tourer !

I have to say that I agree as well, if they made the 7th Gen with an IDTEC type S engine that would be my dream. The 7th Gen Tourer has acres of space compared to the 8th Gen. and its much easier to access, the 8th Gen boot is a mess with the shock pillars eating up all the space.

    Adding Media Bluetooth (Need Suggestions)

My previous 7th Gen tourer suffered the same issue, I bought a Grom head unit and fitted it and never had any more problems. I think they are available in the UK as well as the US, not cheap but retain full functionality of wheel and BT streaming.

    Rear caliper information

I have rebuilt calipers with old seals in a few cases and if you clean the grooves and lube them and the seals up they can be fine for a very long time. Even pitted pistons don't seem to leak for some reason.

    Roof Bars

For kayaks it doesn't really matter, for roof boxes I try and fit them as far back as possible as long as they clear the rear door when it is fully open. Tie the bow and stern back to the car if travelling any distance, there is a lot of force on a kayak at speed and without the additional ropes...

    Bottom ball joints

I don't think they appear to be troublesome, I haven't heard of any 8th Gens snapping Balljoints, maybe they beefed them up a little?

    Borg & Beck Disks/Pads

Borg and Beck have been around a long time, Meyle are more recent, I like their HD suspension stuff. Its solid.

    Anyone have experience with SMF?

Mine is stock, no need for much more and in my experience the less you do mechanically the less chance of errors. ATS have different specs to the standard N22B1 including the clutch and that accounts for the extra power before mapping. I value smooth drivability and the remap has delivered...

    Anyone have experience with SMF?

I have an ATS Tourer and one of Fahads Stage 2 Maps, DPF-EGR delete, I find the map ideal, smooth progressive power with no big lumps of power or torque to upset the balance of the car. My Type S clutch seems to be holding up fine approaching 95k miles. I would recommend Premier maps they are...

    Which centre caps

Looks good in that colour, I had a Tourer in that colour Graphite Pearl NH658P it suits the car well. Derry registration?

    Wheel Size/comfort

There is plenty of tyres that size with 94 load rating. I went to that size with my 7th Gen Tourer and had no problems finding 94 or XL rated tyres, Hankook Ventus Prime 3 K125 have a 94 load rating in 205/55-16, I find them to be an excellent tyre. Bridgestone Turanza T005 also 94 load...

Rear vents - cold or hot?

All the air comes from the same place, it may take some time for the air coming through the rear vents to warm up as the pipe run is longer and has more chance to cool down. Face and Face and feet are the two settings where the rear vents should be the same as the front ones. I can't imagine how...

    Tar Spots

I use Tarminator, its a gel type tar remover, I find these better because you can apply and leave to soak, then wash. Scrubbing tar spots off will cause scratches because tar holds grit and that is abrasive when scrubbed with petrol on a rag. Do not use on tarmac drives only concrete.

    Knocking from Rear of Tourer

Sound travels and you could be surprised how noise generated in one part of the car can appear to be coming from another. You can get mechanics stethoscopes that are electronic and the microphones attach to the body and you can isolate different areas while wearing headphones. If you fancy...

    P0325 code!

I agree, very hard to beat OEM parts. Honda stuff must go through several more QC checks than aftermarket parts and that is all the difference that you need. Keep your Honda a Honda! within reason.

Drivers side heater blowing colder than Passenger side

I don't think that member is active any longer, but you can check the flaps yourself they are on the central console on the drivers side behind the trim, I have seen a post before that showed the metal cable had jumped off a plastic peg that adjusted the flap.
