When upgrading my headlights I never spotted anything similar on mine but I only have have halogens. Being only fitted to one side I'd guess it was aftermarket especially as it isn't in the black conduit

Fitted mine tonight they located fine even with the buttons being separated due to damage in transit. Just to add the batteries are cr1616 as I thought it would make sense to replace with new batteries whilst the key was opened. Thanks for the pointers
