thanks for the advice guys, i forgot to mention this happens when the engine is usally warm when i have driven it around town for a while, first thing in the morning its fine, starts straight away.... can glow plugs still be the culprit?, they have never been changed....

Ok, so im back with another problem, :( car has reached 154k, serviced every 6k fully syn oil 0w30 and new fuel filter on the last service. So, I have noticed that every now and then, when i try to start the car, turn the key, the car just dies, it takes like 3 or 4 attempts to get it started...

I remember when I tried blanking my honda with the blanking plate and it kept on throwing a CEL light and I was so dissapointed but kudos to elite and fahad who have beat the dreaded egr system...

Gazb, mate I have a 54 plate accord ctdi like yours which I also use as a taxi, I'm on my 3rd drum of the exol oil and it's brilliant, one word of advice pal you should aim to change your oil every 6k miles as all the stop start driving we do, your car will run perfect with regular oil changes

Yeah really easy lift up the trim take out the switch held by 2 screws, take the bulb out with a turn of the screw driver and replace the bulb

Guys I need some help please, whenever I switch my headlights on I get a buzzing sound from the front passenger side speaker when the stereo is on, so I replaced the speaker thinking it was duff, but the noise is still there...when i switch the lights off the noise dissappears.... Any ideas

Right so I got round to replacing the small led bulb that goes inside the switch to light the switch up but still no light, the heated seat works fine but the damn thing isn't lighting up...anyone know what it can be..
