    VSA Modulator Light

Bit of update. I managed to delete ABS fault by reseting the error code and it didn't come up again (yet). Vsa and ! are still on but self diagnostic shows 66 only now. I found used ABS modulator part on ebay for £125 I think it will be my only option. Also is it possible to fit the same...

    VSA Modulator Light

Message sent to your email address mate :) VSA related - from crawling the internet it seems like 9-1 fault is related to SRS, which usually is the faulty unit. 6-6 it seems like faulty ABS sensor or the pump itself. Anyone can confirm this for me? Thanks, Dan EDIT: found this page...

    VSA Modulator Light

Ehh it's been ages since I logged in. Hope all is well with my fellow accorders (I still own the same one!) My car was parked on the street for about a week. When I started it up two days ago I noticed the ABS and VSA lights stay on, oh dear. I dreaded this moment :) Anyway, I went on and...

Alarm went off for no reason

Thanks mate. Surprisingly it wasn't that loud, the sound was coming from boot speaker only. What makes me wonder is why it was that only, no lights at all just the sound. Just hope it won't trigger by itself at 3am ;/. Dan

Alarm went off for no reason

Yello. I parked my car at PcWorld and tried to open it 5 mins later. Car unlocked but the alarm went off instantly. There were no lights flashing, car locked and unlocked without a problem, I could start the car up. I disconnected the battery's "+" and it stopped but as soon as I made a...

    Air con problem

Hello mate. Among other issues with my A/C recently I had pressure sensor that failed. You can check it by bypassing the sensor (just short the wires) and see if A/C is kicking in. I would bet my money on that really. This is what you want to look for: Clicky The sensor is the no 18 -...

    Fun with A/C...NOT

I already contacted them by email and responce was they did everything ok. I received a Honda satisfaction survey yesterday, filled it in and sent it off. At the end it said the Service Manager will contact me soon to clarify the issues. The thing is he responded to me email earlier and I think...

    Fun with A/C...NOT

Yeah, I am glad it is sorted as the heat wave is still on in Poland. A/C really is a must. I would have a go at fixing it myself but for the price I paid I honestly coudn't be bothered. It would take me few days probably :) £85 included the special leak test and regassing. I won't be taking my...

    Fun with A/C...NOT

Yello. All good now but here is the full story so stay a while and listen :) The day before I went on holiday I decided to check my A/C as last charge gone suspiciously quick. Went to main dealer (Taunton) and asked them to do the leak test as well, just to be sure. No leaks were found, A/C...

    aircon electrical fault

£300? What a rip off. I had a fault with A/C recently as well, gonna post my woes in separete topic. Don't let them do it for that price, it is unbeliavable (I had it done for free at Honda Poland,). Try Neil's advice, mine fault (among others) was faulty pressure sensor, A/C wouldn't kick in. Dan

    Air conditioning not working

Why not, I will just add to the thread. Went on holidays on thursday but day before that I decided to get my A/C sorted as it was warm. Went to local dealers, paid for the "special" leak test just in case and they did the recharge. They noted that condenser was corroded but still no leaks and...

    Binding brakes

My bet is on the rubber (what was the name for it again?) that seals the pistons. Slowly deteriorated causing some rust build up and restricting piston movement. You can order some cheap service kit online and sort it out yourself. I did it for the first time weeks ago, not a big job. The...

Confused with buying discs & pads

Only safe method is to measure them, you will know for sure. From what I remember 260mm rear discs were for saloon version, 280mm for tourers. I am pretty sure front ones for 2.0 models were 280mm and for 2.4 and 2.2 diesel 300mm. But best thing is to check yourself. Dan
