Got a power steering leak on a 2004 icdti Tourer and looks like it’s coming from this join I’ve found in the top hose. Is this join standard or has it been a previous bodge? Anybody replaced this pipe? Looks a nightmare to get to the bottom connection

Where is the noise coming from? Engine? Wheel?

Yeah when I first bought mine it had been run for a long time with no gas and the compressor was knackered. I removed it, fitted a shorter belt and ran without it for over a year. Finally fitted a 2nd hand compressor and all good. I'm very conscious now to never let it run out of gas.

Made the decision and had it re-gassed yesterday and wow what a difference !!! Ice cold in seconds. Best £50 spent !

That’s the viscosity they recommend. What is the specification? Will be something like C2/C3 or A5. This is the important part.

What does Honda recommend for your car? Do you have a manual with the car? You need to get the correct specification of oil as well as the viscosity.

AC was re-gassed in 2018 and has been fine but used the car yesterday (29 degrees outside) and the AC temperature seemed to vary a little. Took a good 10 mins to blow cold, with 16 degree set point, and was okay but could then feel the air get warmer without changing the set point. Then...

The flexible hoses can break down internally and cause blockages that then hold pressure to the caliper. Worth replacing them both sides.

There should be a threaded hole in the middle. I made a quick bracket with a long bolt and piece of metal.

Well I've replaced the rear anti roll bar bushes and the knocking seems to be gone. Of course I'm now paranoid and hearing every other noise but I'm fairly sure it's gone! Frustrating when a relatively simple 30 minute job solves something you have been chasing for two years !!!!!!
