    Lost puddle light in door

I went to change the bulb in the front passenger side puddle light and the little thing only fell into the door. Gggrr - 45 mind of trying to fish it out has not yielded success. Any tips? Am I best to take the door lining off? Thanks in advance.

    Tyres - what's recommend?

I put on Nexen N8000 tyres all around about 15k ago. Still going strong. Were about £85 each, fully fitted, at home! They are not brilliant sporty tyres but it is a Honda Diesel Estate for crying out loud!

    Spare key

If you go for the all singing and dancing fob it is nearly £300, hence I say that £90 is 'well priced'. However, if we lock the car with the main fob and want to drive the car with the spare we can do so but only with the alarm blaring!

    Spare key

So I got my spare key, which was priced well at £90, including 'fitting'. It is just a key and not the all singing and dancing fob. Trouble is, if you lock the car with the remote fob and then unlock it with the key, the alarm goes off. Big flaw here!!

Are there any good points to a 2.2 Auto?

It is a really good car and does what it should do. My auto 2.2 idtec does no 40mpg in general but i did really hammer it once and got 31mpg. If you have flappy paddles these are good for shuffling up the gears and using less fuel. Re the DPF issue, aside from the oil, make sure you only use...

    Another Rusty Sunroof

My 09 tourer sunroof is mint. Looks like it has just rolled off the factory line .... but maybe the previous owner changed it as I have only had it 6 months.

Ah yes if course - that lever. It does help for lumbar, yes.

    uncomfortable driver's seat?

I find there is a lack of thigh support on longer journeys. I do not have a way of adjusting lumbar on my electric seats.

    uncomfortable driver's seat?

I have had my 8th gen for 6 months/10k now and the front seat is really not much good in my opinion. I'm not fat but I am over 15 stone! Has anyone else ever had any issues and rectified it with an add on car seat or cushion at all?

    Spare Keys

I require a spare key and so I popped in to my local dealer to get the cheap one as I refuse to pay nearly £300 for the fancy one as it is only a spare! They duly took my deposit and ordered one for me. However, they have called me this morning to tell me that Honda do not supply a...

    Feul consumption

Your getting better fuel consumption for your petrol than they advertise, from memory, and if my memory is correct you're doing well. I recall never really being interested in the petrol one purely based on mpg. However, I didn't really want diesel (hassle, smell, noise, running costs other than...

    Feul consumption

You can't beat the old fashioned brim to brim calc. My idtec auto gets a solid 38mpg time after time, except if I use supermarket fuel when it only gets 34mpg, and i rarely use the latter due to it being a bit dirty. Interestingly i used Jet's diesel the other day at 130p and there was no loss...

code reader advice - engine management

I do not really want to get rid of my DPF unless it gets totally knackered. The DPF light did come on a while ago, just after the first time the engine management light came on, and some brute force driving eventually put it out. Other than that, it has not come on, only the EML has. Odd that...

    rear wheel camber / alignment

Odd that we have to get good stuff from the Staes. Than you for the offer of your camber sets. Would you recommend i wait a while and invest in the newer ones like you are getting and fitting? I am keeping a beady eye on my rear tyres in the meantime!

code reader advice - engine management

Hi, Having bit of trouble with my engine management light coming on. When it comes on, the car goes into limp mode. I pull over and restart the car the and the car comes out of limp mode but the light remains on. It has done it a few times over the last few thousand miles - and once i had...

    rear wheel camber / alignment

:- ( So I ***ume that is either the ones you have on at the moment that it seems you do not rate or put some top of the range ones on that you are about to put on or just replace an original part that if it goes out again is not possible to change?

    rear wheel camber / alignment

I just tried to upload an image but get the pop up saying that I am not allowed to use image extension on this community, so I will write the results. Rear angle left: Initial Camber -1.49 and inital toe -0,3(where '.' represents the degrees sign on the print out and ',' represents ',') Final...

    rear wheel camber / alignment

Thanks - I would be interested to know the fitting cost. My wheels are standard 17inch. It has had a full check over and all bushes etc are absolutely fine so it is 'just the car' which is really poor. I have the full read out from the garage (not to hand) but i recall a .01 degree and about...

    rear wheel camber / alignment

Understood re the US model. I have not had any large weight in the back (though as richsprint points out, I do not know what the previous owner of 45k put in it) but it does strike me as a bit odd to have this happen to it. I would never want to lower the car but would want to stop the tyre...

    rear wheel camber / alignment

And also, aren't the American Accords different to ours? Will these fit our Euro spec model? Just a thought.
