Anyone fitted an A-Spec spoiler to a diesel bumper?

Thanks Fahad, this was an eBay one as well, obviously picked the wrong one though!

Which tyres to buy? (Must be quiet)

What's your budget? I've been running Falken 914s which are a mid range tyre on my 7th Gen Accord and am very happy with them, they've never once felt like they were struggling, even in pretty poor weather conditions. Can't comment on economy and noise compared to other tyres in the same size...

Thanks Fahad, don't suppose you remember where you got your one from?

Anyone fitted an A-Spec spoiler to a diesel bumper?

I have already got a topic going asking about the differences between petrol and diesel bumpers, but as I've narrowed down exactly where the problem seems to be, I just want to check whether this is due to the mould or the actual difference between the petrol and diesel bumper shapes. I've...

Petrol and diesel front bumper differences

Thanks, can't look at it on the work PC but will check it out when I get home. After having another conversation with the guys at the bodyshop we've agreed to not bother with this spoiler, they would be able to get it to fit okay around the sides but the gap you can see around the fog light...

Petrol and diesel front bumper differences

The guys in the bodyshop have sent me these photos of how the spoiler is lining up at the moment and as you can see, the shape at the ends just seems all wrong and I want to double check whether this is due to the mould being rubbish or is there an actual difference in shape in those areas...

Petrol and diesel front bumper differences

Sorry should have said, it's a 2004. I've seen pre facelift diesels with the A-Spec style spoiler fitted, I know it would need trimming round the foglight area as the foglight housing seems to sit further out, but is the general shape of the bumper the same?

Petrol and diesel front bumper differences

My Accord is currently in the bodyshop have some repair work done and was hoping to have an A-Spec front spoiler fitted but the bodyshop are saying that there's no way it'll fit and even with cutting it up to fit the actual shape of it seems wrong. So I just want to check, what are the exact...

    P1030 fault code

Thanks guys, will rule out the easy bits first before going straight to the fuel heater itself. Hopefully this will solve the slight running issue I've been experiencing!

    P1030 fault code

Been having the glow plug light coming on and off over the last few weeks, have run my code reader on the car and it's coming back with one fault code which is P1030. Has anyone had this before, or know where to start looking for the fault?

Fuel filter priming bulb not staying hard

Hi Fahad I did run a scan and the only fault code was P2008, but I had unplugged a few things previously to if it affected the running of the car. I've probably done almost 1k miles since and ran another scan today and no errors came up. Both sides of the EGR pipe have been blanked. The IMRC...

Fuel filter priming bulb not staying hard

Well when I first started squeezing it, it took a lot of squeezes to get it as hard as it would get, after I opened the bleed bolt and a few little bubbles came out it got harder a lot quicker. I'll put everything back together and take it for a little spin to see how it feels. It was remapped...

Fuel filter priming bulb not staying hard

So it is soft the first couple of squeezes no matter what? Fuel filter is about 8k miles old now, but this issue has been around since it was remapped (with EGR delete) so probably for the last 5k miles odd.

Fuel filter priming bulb not staying hard

Been having slight running issues for a while now. The slight issue seems to match issues regarding either the EGR valve or fuel filter, ie, bit flat lower down the rev range, little bit of hesitation. Now the EGR valve has been deleted when it was remapped and has been blanked off and the fuel...

    Eco mania

Managed to get over 50mpg for the first time recently when driving with my girlfriends family in the car so didn't go much over 70mph (and had to do long stints at 50mph on the M25). At my normal motorway speed of 80-90mph I see mid 40s. Around town is low to mid 40s as well. That's in my pre...

Honda Accord DVD Feed through main screen

Has anyone fitted one of these? Really like the idea of fitting a rear view camera but from reading various threads on here it's not an easy job on pre facelift cars.

P2004 - IMRC Intake Manifold Runner Control problems

Hi Fahad, I only blanked one side so will do the other, also plan on cleaning the MAF, etc based on how bad the EGR had gotten they could probably benefit from a clean. Just need to get the codes read now to check what is actually playing up.

P2004 - IMRC Intake Manifold Runner Control problems

After a bit of advice. I've had my Accord remapped by Fahad a few months back, it was detected that the EGR valve had completely gone, so this has been mapped out and I've fitted a blank. It always felt a bit flat and hesitant before the map, and although it's quicker, it still feels a bit...

Apex Lower Springs - 7th Gen Tourer

Thanks mate, I wasn't sure on the colour either when I first got it but it's amazing how lowering a bit a and some decent wheels can transform the look. Really liking yours as well, pretty sure I saw yours lowered and that convinced me to go for the Apex's.
