I know a few guys who run HSDs on their E36 BMWs and they rate them very highly.

They are good bulbs, but the longevity of them is appalling. I went through two sets in less than 6 months. Fitted some uprated Halfords ones as a quick fix, not as bright as the Osrams but have lasted much longer so far.

I've got Mazda RX8 alloys on my Accord which has been lowered 40mm, 8x18 and et40 running 225/40/18 tyres and they fit perfectly, never had issues with them scrubbing. Can't imagine 2mm difference in the offset will cause any problems.

Well I've got a couple of trips down to Corwall from South Wales coming up so I might try one journey with no cruise control and the other with it and see if there's any difference.

Best I've seen is 530 miles in my diesel tourer, that was mostly motorway miles at 80-85ish. It's gone down a bit since fitting 18" alloys though, best now is a shade over 500. Anyone know if using the cruise control would result in better or worse MPG on the motorway?

I've not experienced any issues yet, they been fitted for about 5 months and have covered about 5k miles. I was a bit worried that may happen at some point, but if and when it does I think I'll splash out on coilovers.

Definitely not in the back of a Honda workshop, most likely in hundreds of bits at the side of the road somewhere judging by the small amount remaining where it used to be bolted on! Luckily everything underneath looks pretty clean and straight so it looks like just the under tray was caught...
