Accord tourer
Hi all, i have searched but i really cant find much about this subject.
I have seen a set of wheels im interested in and im not sure if they will fit or not.
The company says they will but the et rating is 30, will these fit my accord tourer with that rating?
I thought our offset was 45-50mm on the standard wheels?
Was going to go with yoko parada 225/40 18 tyres, rim size is 5x114 8j et30..
Will these fit without rubbing? Car is also lowered on h&r springs, about 30-35mm front and rear.
Dont want to buy these and find out they wont fit properly when people get in my car.

Thanks in advance

Chris

The standard 6.5x16 wheels have an offset of et55. Using this website you can put in the current wheel specs and new wheel specs to see how they will fit in comparison.

Think an offset of et30 will have them sitting very close to the arch, I've got 8x18s, offset is et40 and they are fitted with 225/40/18 tyres and they fit okay with no scrubbing with the car lowered 40mm, even 5 up and a boot full of luggage.

I've put 17x7.4 ET44 wheels on my tourer. They sit just right. Fill the arches better, but don't stick out past the the bodywork. To be honest, probably could take the ET a little lower.

This is the best photo I've got to show how they sit in line with the bodywork.

They won't fit, offset is too low. I 've put once 18" x 8" with ET 35 and I'm also lowered and I got rubbing on the rear, you can roll your arches but imo it's not worth it.

Cheers for that guys, i had a feeling they wouldnt fit properly and the guy i spoke to said they would without any problems..lol
Will go with a 40 offset then as my lowest guideline. I have pentas on but fancied a change, something abit more look at me but not
Too much
Many thanks for ur help B)

I have ET 38 with 8" wide rim and they stick out few mm on the front but rear is fine, so ET40 will be fine, even 38 as I mentioned ;-)
