Passenger Front electric window switch needed

The switch is probably identical to all similar function windows switches from Hondas of the same build era. Honda ***igns different part numbers to identical parts all the time. BTW can you swap the broken switch with one of the rear window switches? Would not hurt comparing.

    DRL

Check out this thread from 2017. Unfortunately the demo video on YT is no longer public and the EBay listing is dead, but the indicators, when not indicating, are white DRLs, and turn momentarily off when indicating. They looked clean and functional on the video, not like a clumsy add-on. Look...

    new to me

My family keep buying Audi and VW for some reason, but they swallow parts and repairs. Meanwhile the one Honda and 4 Toyotas just keep driving. It is almost because the Japanese cars are so reliable as back up vehicles that we can afford to also have German cars.

Brakes Binding on my Mk7 and Mk8 Tourer

From what people are posting, the list of issues are: Rear brakes (as explained) i-CTDI cam chain wear EGR storing smoke instead of burning it. i-DTEC DPF doing what DPF's do Early i-CTDI Exhaust manifold cracks Tourer rear door wiring Flaky soldering on Bluetooth module Condensation / water in...

Rear brake piston will not wind back in - stuck

The piston is plated, and the piston seal constantly slides over the same area each time you brake. This causes the plating to wear, and as the worn area slowly moves outward as the pads wear, this is exactly where the piston corrodes. Corroded steel expands and this makes it difficult to push...

Diesel holding back at 3000 rpm

Be aware that if your cooling system isn't pressurising the water boils at 100C, which is not the maximum on the temperature gauge. So you might think the temperature is "a bit high" but in reality you have screaming hot motor and turbo trying to offload heat to a maxed out heat exchange...

    Air Con Woes

My advice is to go through online Honda forums and find people reporting a similar problem but not necessarily in a (diesel) accord. Civics, US forums etc. Especially try and find similar age cars, and read what the solutions were.

    Rear brakes servicing

There was likely some corrosion on your brake piston that, when you pushed the piston back in to fit the new pads, is now interfering with smoothly sliding past the seal. You need to have a look at that. Pull the piston halves apart and inspect behind the dust deal. Some related info, and...

2003 Estate type S bumper on 2006 ex coupe

My 2006 has an earlier bumper, without the spray flaps. It fits fine. I have a few weird areas on top of the grille but it could be that I also have an earlier grill that doesn't interface correctly with the black plastic cover on the front of the engine bay.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean.

Front left brake is binding, what could be reason

Pull the 2 calliper halves apart and check the guide pins for wear. They shouldn't have flat areas or corrosion. Also make sure they are sliding in brake grease and protected by intact seals.

Are diesel struts / shock absorbers different from petrol ?

I don't know the answer to this specifically, but because I live somewhere where Honda only sold the petrol sedan version of the Accord, parts compatibility is something I look into consistently. Cars are of course designed to mostly use parts from a contemporary "parts library", meaning...
