All Probably a long shot but is anyone is able to advise if or how the high visability brake light unit and housing can be removed from the rear parcel shelf ? The platic clips that retain it to the shelf have come off and due to aftermarket 6x9s installed it is now rattling as its not fixed...

It does sound like there is an issue with your ECU learning the fuel trims.

You need a handheld OBD2 reader you can get them on eBay for around £20. Someone else may be able to advise which offers the best value for money.

I ***ume your talking about the dark lines that are quite difficult to make out from the photos. They almost look like fractures, are they deep? Either way they don't look too good i would get them changed quickly for the sake of £40 - 50 before you do any serious damage mate ;)

I did my rear discs and pads on a saloon at the wknd all in about £70 for brembo from nextdaybrakes.com and its also worth doing a full brake fluid flush at the same time, mine was black ! but you will need a second pair of hands for this and be prepared its all a very dirty job !
