The inner seal shoud be the pistons seal right? It's part of the service kit I believe.. Many thanks, and I just order them from biggred in ebay for £26, and can service both calipers.. :-)

Sounds like every same age car are now having this problem, and mine is currently have this issue..as previous relay, feel very hot from the disc of rim, with small too..

Faddy, thanks for that, will defo give it a go before the caliper eat through my new pads! Every long journey caused excessive heat from the alloys also strong burning pad smell...

That is what I'm going to do as part of rebuilt job, the seal you mean is dust seal around the piston right? Or the metal that holds the two pads? But I will buy new seal kit from eBay, and give it a go as I need my back caliper paint to yellow anyway. Just to know the dust seal is push in...

I don't think is good idea of doing this way, and this also very hard to bring pistons out as it has sucktion in the system. And without the whole caliper off the system, will even damage the master cylinder too..

By using the air compressor mate, quite easy.

Was thinking about that.. But for the cost, rebuilt is much cheaper, and I have all tool available. Just to get the rebuilt kit which around £10 each side..

The brake line were HEL Braied line, and was replaced less than 50k miles, so, what should be doing with the collapsed brake line? Or just simple bleeding?

Hi guys, as my tourer rear passenger side calipers seem blinding, im thinking to take it out and give it a rebuilt using new piston seal and dust seal etc, and repaint in yellow to match the front calipers, just need some advice, will the dust seal easy to fit in as I've heard the original front...

I put 25mm wheel spacer front which make ET 30 offset, and I don't think ET 35 won't fit, but on the rear, if you too low, you may end up roll the fender a little, like what I'm going to do, it slightly touching the tyre once car bouncing on the road.

I used hel lines but mine broke on driver side, and I found out it was scraping with the wheel rim, I don't know why, so it's not the quality of it wrong, now I replace an other hel line.

Yes, dc5 need modified, but it still bolt on, just the dust shield and need right offset rim to fit, s2k rotor, awful lots of money to put..

You don't need to know how much as they are straight fit anyway..

The better one could be the ATR calipers, which has twins pistons, or the DC5 which has 4 pistons, 2 small and 2 bigger for more stopping power.

Mate, it sounds like turbo to me... Get a recondition one from eBay mate.

For me, I wasn't unlucky as I spoke to some mechanic they all said EGR valve is crab, not only honda diesel model are suffering, many mades model cars too. The main reason to get EGR valve soot up is base on low mile driving each day, and soot soon be build up through the year without going away...
