    18 or 19 Need to choose !?$

Yes mate it is OEM set up from Honda. It's not a huge drop only about 15mm but the 8th gen is a lot lower on stock than the 7 th gen. As for 19" wheels I think it's down to personal toast and comfort. I have 18" and it's a good set up for performance with not compromised the ride to much.

    18 or 19 Need to choose !?$

I'm running 18" with Aspec suspension and the ride is quite hard but great in corners. With my set up 19" would be far to hard of a ride IMO

Need Advice, 8th Gen Type S Issues.

Give Honda uk a call and explain your not happy with paying out 2k if the dmf is ok. After all a Honda dealership has diognosed the fault to be the dmf. I had this with my old 7th gen and was put off by the dealers like yourself. Only to pay 1 year later for a new clutch and friction plate.

They do get very hot but not as much as the 7th gen due to the tiny holes in the lever

Windscreen washer fluid spraying out from under bonnet

Hi Tony you have a 7 th gen by the sounds of it. They have headlight washers so it might be this. Or it could be a hose leaking. Best bet is get someone to use the washers and look under the bonnet to trace the water

Gear Knob / Gaitor Retaining Clip

I would be careful thought it don't cut into the gaiter. On mine the OEM ring that was attached to the gaiter and clipped onto the underside of the gear knob was cable tied in the same way.

Gear Knob / Gaitor Retaining Clip

Hi Stu I fitted the same gear knob to my 8th gen. I took the gaiter off and turned inside out. Then cable tied it to the shaft just below the thread and turned back to the correct way. So the cable tie is on the inside and grips the gaiter to the shaft.

If your car is an 8 th gen CU2 as on your profile this is a common noise on almost every manual. Change the gearbox oil as this helps.

Idle low and engine management 2.4

Just to add to the thread after doing a coolant change I had a fault code saying bank 1 running rich. I'm sure and was told this might have been a small air lock in the system. After about a week of topping up small amounts all is ok now. Also fault code has not come back.

    Resetting your service reminder

B is an inspection and the 360 is probably days until the B service is due. If so there will be a little sun and moon from memory

    Resetting your service reminder

Go to a dealers and have the service reminder taken off for free. I did this and went back to a normal Honda service schedule of 12.5k or 12 months. BTW because you have reset this twice its no longer reliable and your service schedule will be all over the place. Previous owners might have done...

    Calling all CU2 owners

Hi Richard I will have a look at mine when the rain stops. I can see why this won't fit as lots of 7 gen diesels have had twin exhaust fitted. Also there is a 8th gen diesel in bristol fitted with a twin setup.

Gear Lever Surround & Cup Holder Removal

Once you drop the gater from the bottom of the gear stick you can unscrew the gear knob. Then open the ashtray and cig lighter cover and gently pull up the cover. Underneath there are 4 small screws that hold the plastic gater surround to the cover. Undo and the hole lot comes out and just...

    Noisy Clutch Pedal

It's a problem that also effects the 7th gen as well. Get some silicon grease spray and spray where the back of the pedal goes towards the engine. Its like a piston that pushes in and you Will need the straw connection on the spray to get in there. Only use a silicon based grease and nether use...
