Ledstrips always seem out of place. Even when they come as OEM. I've seen a solution here in the forum a while back that made the high beams at half the power or something, and always on. I would swallow a solution like that.

Doesn't seem something to worry about. If the oil light went off after starting the car, it should be fine. And 5 minutes are not enought to take the temperature needle anywhere. If the light comes on while driving, that's something to worry about. But keep an eye on it.

You should look for 18" x 7.5 (the width of the wheel) and offset (or ET) 45. I wouldn't go lower than 45. The oem wheels are et 55. The lower the value, the wider the wheel will seem in the car. My wheels are et 48 and seem fine to me. The offset is the distance between the rim's center line...

I've washed my oem at least 2 times. lol

It's a great mod. And very useful too! I've done it to my 7 th gen using a gas strut. It doesn't open all the way fully, but it's enough for me.

Yes, it came out quite nice, because it's not exaggerated. I used a sort of 3M tape yes, and it seems solid. But the product even comes with screws, so I'll be putting some screws in a few days.
