    if u pull the belt out all the way then let it go it should shoot back in. mine shoots back in till it hits the seat then either stops or retracts very slowly. Alot of it is down to the style of the seat at the seat can catch the belt ;)

    PMSL :) Theres no need to remove the belt just pull the lower trim out/off so u can gain access to the whole belt ect lol

    with an airlock, it can go spongy but on occasions it will get rock hard then over time become soft without touching it. id also check for blockage in the pipe work mate

    Sounds like someone fitted it incorrectly as there shouldnt have been a loose nut ect. Sounds to me like you have a load of air in the system. Do you know how to bleed the clutch from the Slave cylinder? If not im happy to tell ya how mate. ;)
