    Headlamp removal/replacement

Pretty sure it's a bumper off job. Condensation is often a feature. Do a search, I've a feeling there's a thread about putting a bag of desiccant in there to keep it fog free.

    Unlocking all doors

I concur. That's a 'feature' I'd turn off if I could. Closely followed by the annoying your keys are in the ignition and the door is open beeping. I know. I just put them there. And the your seatbelt is not on beeping (even though you're not moving).

Perhaps a test drive of your prospective 14 year old car next time, before you part with your money?

Gearbox oil change for 07 cdti - Type and quantity please

from the thread you quoted: "Check the hole where the inspection bolt had been removed, it is unlikely any fluid will be escaping just yet. Continue with your third litre of fluid (manual states 2.2 litres for fluid change), at the point where fluid starts to spill from the inspection hole, the...

How to enter radio code on Honda Accord idetec 8 gen

I had to enter the code after cleaning the battery terminals up. Don't think I found it difficult, it just went in. Mine has nav, may be different for others? My 'anti theft radio card' has two numbers a 5 digit and a 8 digit. I don't remember which number I used. Not sure if this will help...

    Any major N22A1 engine issues?

As far as I know 03-05 is pre-facelift 7th, and 06-08 is facelift 7th. Neither has DPF. The fuel filter is different, you get an extra gear and some other odds and ends. The 8th gen from 08 onward has DPF.

    HFT Echo: Fault or Feature?

I'm told by people I talk to on the phone that they get a horrible echo from the handsfree (it sounds ok from my end). I've changed phones recently and the issue remains, so I'm guessing it's the HFT. Not having anything to compare it to, I don't know if this is as good as it gets, or if it's...

Unless you get heated seats, you'll be cold in winter on a short trip -they take a while to warm up ;)

Accord 2.2 i dtec Type S - Appalling mpg figures

Is it manual or auto? My gently driven manual typically returns high 40's to mid 50's. There have several threads on TA from 8th Gen auto owners reporting comparatively poor mpg. I don't recall if anyone improved the situation, or whether it turned out to be a feature rather than a fault.

    Will it fit (speakers)

Not sure if this is any help to you... http://jmp.sh/mLDrAMu Part way down it shows the REAR door speaker with its clip and lug fitting. I'm not sure if the fronts are the same, but I'd imagine so. You might need to adapt your speakers / drill the door to suit?

    8th Gen Windscreen Clips

One of mine was prone to coming off, in spite of supposedly having the correct clips fitted. I just glued it on -it's not budged since. The rubber glove kept the duct tape off the paintwork, whilst the white foam block kept pressure on the trim whilst the adhesive went off. I wasn't worried...

    Dpf

I can't help with turning the light off, but if you've an underlying problem (e.g. burning oil or frequent short journeys) it'll come on again pretty quickly.

    Gear Change Prompt Display

Mine says change down most of the time! If the engine's not labouring, I'm not in a hurry to push the revs up. If I've been out in a (5 speed) pool car all day, occasionally I forget about 6th on my way home and light serves as a reminder -that hardly justifies its existence though...
