Yep ,when you flush the old oil out there is no oil left to take up the clearances, hence the rattles. should quieten down though .

These days normal cars tend to be very low to what they used to be, so making mudguards pretty much obsolete. Front ones will give you a bit of protection it's true, but looks a bit naff. Think estates would get away with it more than saloons! just my two pence worth :D

Recommend the stage 2 off Faddy with EGR delete, BUT with this stage ( as Faddy said ) you deffo do need the paddle clutch as the torque is amazing and the ordinary clutch cannot compete :)

What Brett said, I also use one of those little round mirrors with a 12" handle which to my mind makes it a lot easier :)

The blue stuff is copper sulphate from sulfuric acid attacking the copper wires.

It's the tight ones that are important ! best get em checked.

In my opinion if both discs are okay that's it ! waste of money replacing something that is okay. Just check for lipping on oldest disc, if only slight forget it.

Learn something every day! did not know batteries had a mileage related warranty, thought it was just age related. How would anybody know what mileage you had done?

When fitting mine I tried the lights without starting the engine, and after about 4 times my battery was about flat. If you read the instructions it should tell you to always start car before switching lights on. :)

Hi Paul, if it goes away when you apply brakes it will almost certainly be the brake pad side of things, bit of copper grease on the back and side of pads and shims usually does the trick, maybe a build up of rust on outer edge of disc.First check for heat build up as Adam said before doing...

I personally have never noticed any difference in economy between Shell ordinary and VPD, I always use VPD simply because I believe it's better for the cars injection system ( the thought of any part of the injection system going wrong makes me shudder ) .
