Passenger Front Window Switch Module Fault

Do you have a warm dry garage the car can stay in for a day or two ?

    Changing headlight bulbs

That is nuts. I had a Mitsubishi Galant as a company car once, the dealer dropped a replacement sidelight bulb into the headflight before an MOT and it was off the road for over a week while they basically took the car apart to retrieve it.

    Full Beam stays on

I very much doubt there is a fault in the wiring loom. The control switch on the steering wheel controls two sets of filaments at the front of the bonnet (and both are on with the issue as described) Have you changed/upgraded any bulbs, or had had a road accident lately ?

Power Steering Reservior & Hoses (i-CTDI)

It might be the extension and adapter is required for RHD models. It wouldn't explain the pointless join on the -ve cable under the battery platform though.

    Timing chain.

Two chains. https://typeaccord.co.uk/board/threads/replacement-of-engine-chains.16473/ I only have the Mk7 but have you tried a full oil change (flush/filter/cheap oil/drain oil/filter and recommended oil ) ? About £90 but it will tell you if the previous owners scrimped on servicing or a...

    Heater matrix ictdi

It is unlikely to be flaps ( I did a lot of testing on them, switching from dashboard to foot/front passenger combined and individual settings a year or so back). The crud will be slowly passing through to the newer coolant, the driver's side is always the last. One thing I did not do - for...

Anyone local to West Yorkshire willing to help?

What wheel is in the boot ?

    Heater matrix ictdi

Best to flush the whole system before anything since there may be a second hole about to open after the first has been closed. I found a lot of crud in the base of the radiator which could only be cleared by taking out of the car and flushing upside down multiple times with a high pressure hose

    Temporary alarm fix

There should be no problem fitting a larger battery on the same charging connection. It it can be done in mobile phones and laptops then a car alarm will be no different.

2007 Honda Accord EX 2.0L Petrol Saloon - High Pressure Power Steering Hose

My tourer has had a leak in the hose ever since I bought her, losing around half the reservoir every six months or so. Is yours a serious leak since a fiver a year for the fluid for me is worth the hassle of replacing.

    Power tailgate problem

The type of exhaust emission is important when it comes to diesel v petrol, most of the rules fleecing the motorist (at least around here) are down to particulates.

    Power tailgate problem

Strange that it is significantly higher than the I-ctdi diesel 2.3 litre.

Poor cold start. 2.2 cdti 2006

Why would/should the management system be registering the rail as a fault in a non-cold start situation (ie. winter condition) when it is not a winter start? Genuinely interested.

Poor cold start. 2.2 cdti 2006

The Accord (well my Tourer) had a double earth run, joined for some reason with some superfluous bracket and bolts under the battery tray. There is a thread on here I posted a few years back After removing the linking brackets/bolts following a no start at a client's address (nothing else to...

    Power tailgate problem

I've rarely, if ever used the motor lift system on my Tourer. I would however look closely at the alignment of the tailgate around the rear wing indicators, moreso if you have seen any warnings flash up - even momentarily - on the right of the dashboard. As before, disconnect the battery...

A shame, buy mine. Rot free and with new clutch.

    Highest Mileage

Before leaving at the garage, take the car out for a few miles to get the engine up to temperature, then a few flying starts to burn stuff out of the exhaust and turbocharger. I believe a bit of engine braking will also help remove deposits on the turbo vanes,

    Somebody Here ?

Thanks, I 'borrowed' the number plate on the car to check the ULEZ site, I had some intel that certain i-dtec Hondas were Euro 6 but it looks to be only smaller capacity models. I'll pass on the offer and pay the £265 for another year in the Mk7 tourer now seeing - if correct - the government...

    Somebody Here ?

Quick question, are the VIII Accord diesels ULEZ exempt ? I may have a link to a seller nearby , logistics says no in the long run but family and winter not far away I am going to be hard pushed to justify taxing the old jalopy at £265 for the next year if a replacement Mk 8 can bring back...
