    Angel eyes.

Hi both of my headlight lenses are scratched and have a couple of bullseye marks in so need replacing. Searched high and low for replacement lenses with no luck so am thinking replacement of whole units. If I'm spending that sort of money on it I may as well upgrade to some nice looking angel...

    Accord Check List for Newbies

Dave not much difference mechanically, Honda made some improvements to sort out some of the weakness. Most of the change is the styling on the front, the easy way tell if it's a face lift is looking at front edge of bonnet, the facelift does not have the chrome trim along the front edge also the...

Freddo great thread but I keep getting picture no longer available. Want to find out which relay in which box controls compressor clutch. My 2.4 petrol was ice cold this morning but when I came home the air was warm. Popped bonnet and could not hear clutch engage or disengage with she who must...

    Engine rebuild tips.

No major plans at the moment for the engine but it is far to good to scrap. Was thinking along the lines of stripping it down, replace all gaskets, core plugs, seals, valve stem seals..... Etc etc while I am in there I want to check any damage that may have been done by running on LPG changing...

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) does not work anymore.

Hi Hsak1981, nsr and osr were 28 and 32 nsf was 33 osf was 34. It had been stood since I was kicked out of the office 13 weeks ago for lockdown so apart from driving my allowed 5 miles a day to keep engine lubed and the tyres round, I have neglected keeping on top of weekly checks. From 180...

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) does not work anymore.

I now know that fahad but it was something so simple it's the sort of thing you overlook. I read stories of Honda wanting £200 just to diagnose then £1100 for a new radar with no guarantee it would solve the problem

Alarm Keeps Going Off - But No Indicators Flashing & No Immobiliser

Ed. I was referring to the saloon. That took longer to get the tools from the shed than it did to access and remove the siren and find company to place battery order. Would have thought the tourer would have been designed to be as easy. We just need to do what works for us.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) does not work anymore.

Reading through loads and loads of threads someone mentioned the most stupid idiotic idea of checking the tyre pressure is correct. My ACC would set and unset itself then check system would light up on dash. Annoying more than anything especially with the number of speed cameras round here. I...

Alarm Keeps Going Off - But No Indicators Flashing & No Immobiliser

Ed Sounds like you had more of a faff getting to the wire to disconnect the switch than you would of lifting the boot carpet and unclipping the right hand boot liner. Just taken siren out of my doner Cl9 and it was a doddle 1 x 10mm spanner was all it took and a #2 Phillips to get siren open to...

Alarm Keeps Going Off - But No Indicators Flashing & No Immobiliser

Old thread but really really useful. Just removed lining from boot on my CL9 2.4 accord saloon to replace battery pack in siren. Followed these instructions through the thread which make it really easy. Ordered new pack through Cellsolutions.co.uk They are building the pack tomorrow and will...

Thanks tanna, it is not causing problems at the moment but while I'm in lockdown thought I would use the time to sort out the small things that niggle me, just had dash out replacing all of the bulbs you just do not have enough time to sort when the world is normal will give you a shout if I...

    Engine rebuild tips.

I have a 2006 accord with a k24a3 engine with 80k miles on, unfortunately the body is not as long lasting as the engine so it is time to send it to the great rustyard. Love the car so much I went and got another mk7 2.4 on a 2007 plate with the same engine but has 180k miles on. Thinking I can...

Bluetooth module - dead? needs activating?

The baking worked on my first accord but like many others I was slightly worried about putting the module in the oven, spoke with an electronic wizz and he says you get the same effect by just touching the small prongs with a hot soldering iron. This melts the solder and fixes any dry joints...

    2.0 petrol with LPG

Had lpg on my CL9 but I made mistake of getting the cheapest I could afford, it paid for itself (£750) in three months. Ran it for three years and it had problems that made it uneconomical to repair along with other issues I had with the car so I decided to lay the car up on my drive and buy...
