    Accord 7th gen Lowering options

I missed the KYB question - it's a middle of the road brand in my experience. Good for OEM replacement, but less interesting on the "high performance" stuff. I find Bilstein worth the extra $$$ at that point.

    Accord 7th gen Lowering options

Hmm... something is not right. They shouldn't be hitting the bump-stops with just the car and driver in it. In my experience actually when I loaded the car with luggage and 5 people the suspension became more pliable. Question - are you riding the bushings? i.e. was the suspension settled by...

    Accord 7th gen Lowering options

I started by replacing the rear and experienced what you described - I even said if the front behaved like the back it would kill the ride... I think what you're seeing is not the bump-stop but the result of a much stiffer rear suspension.

    Whining power steering '05 CDTi

You'll need a flush and I recommended getting a pump from a breakers. I'd replaced a few PSPs on the diesel accord.

Front is the same - rears are different between tourer and saloon.

    Accord 7th gen Lowering options

To do this, you would need a suspension setup that can "adjust" automatically to the loads - I don't know if this is available for the Accord. I don't recommend that you have a static setup that is much stiffer at the rear (for planned) loads, as when unburdened they car will feel "funny"

Honda Accord MK7 2.4 - Massive misfire maladies

I ***ume you've checked the coil packs? It is more common that the coil packs fail versus anything else.

    Bilstein B12 with Xenon Lights

Get that bracket spot-welded! Basically, measure the distance between the existing shock bracket and chassis point. Trial fit the new shock and determine where the bracket should sit. The take the existing shock and (carefully) remove the supporting bracket using a Dremmel. Grind away the...

Wet floor in rear passengers seat

Could it be condensation? I think this issue came up before (my memory is failing me). But on the tourer the roof-rails holes (if you've roof-rails) over time, can let in water. The solution was to re-seal them.

    2005 ACCORD automatic trans. problem

When was the last time the ATF was changed on the box? Was the filter done at the same time? I'd start with the cheap options first. Is any error present on the ECU? (geabox?)

    Rear brakes issue

This - very common on the tourer. I had the same on mine. The caliper and pads need to "float" on the rotors.

2 pod Nissin (Type R) calipers - new question

I can't speak for the Odyssey, but the Legend pads do fit (well the UK Legend pads) anyway.

    Mystery Lump?

Yep, it's a harmonic dampener. You also see them on some drive shafts (a piece of apparently locate random rubber about 1/3 way down a drive shaft). The idea here is that some of the vibrations are countered by these pieces of rubber.

    2005 type s 2.4 speedometer problem

I've seen this before. Basically the electronics/coil/deflector in the odometer has gone awry... and tends to go "mad". Cheapest fix is an odometer from a breakers.

    Won't start on cold 2.2ctdi

To see if the motor is sticking, hit it a smack! Seriously... get a tyre lever or similar and tap it a few taps to see does it unstick. Worth a try..

PITA = pain in the a** :) I had a HDS so I too can't remember if you can see with the ELM327 based ones

2.4 Exec, can't keep it in Petrol?

The knock sensor is underneath the intake manifold and a PITA to get too. The service manual call for the removal of the manifold but screw that. I was able to get at it from under the car, it needed some contortions but doable. If you have a OBD reader you could look the the timing advance to...

    Radio issues

I can't add much, other than to say, search the US forums. The reason I say that is I did years ago come across something related to the symptoms you describe. As it wasn't relevant for the EDM Accords (we have different electrics and radios) I moved on..

    Won't start on cold 2.2ctdi

Ah the old IMRC error :) Seriously, the IMRC is a valve within the engine that lengthens or shorten the intake pipe depending on load conditions. It can get stuck over time and may need to be cleaned/replace. If you search for the error here, you should find quite a bit on it. Also search for...
