Disable automatic mirror folding | Honda Accord CU3 | 2009 | European Edition

Im pretty sure that auto folding mirrors was never a factory fit option on the European cars so it seems like you've fitted a modified part that has this feature. Unfortunately without dismantling it and inspecting the wiring im not sure you can switch it off.

    Clunking noise from the front

The bottom ball joint is usually the place these go as its the part that gets the most abuse - I would start there. I would try to get it sorted asap as if left unchecked they can fail and then your wheel can basically pop out and damage itself/the arch I had a clunking on mk8 on one side which...

    Speakers

You should be able to find a broken car quite easily (a lot of them seem to be EX spec which will have the correct speakers etc) and get the breaker to remove the speakers you need and save a bit of money. There are separate tweeters/woofers in the doors so you'll need to check which one...

    Pixelated screen.

I believe the screen is driven by the sat nav DVD unit in the boot / centre console (depending on model) so that could be at fault, not the screen - maybe worth testing it with another unit if you can

    Back again!!

There should be a metal plate somewhere with info like the VIN and paint code on it like this - often its in the drivers door shut The "NH737M" is the paint colour code in this case - then you can google that and find out what it was actually called! Also - civinfo seems to be an active...

    Remove satnav/radio display

I think for the Mk7 you have to leave the stock head unit in place and install it into the lower section where the storage pocket is like this: For Mk8 there is a fascia to replace the stock head unit with double DIN - the climate control buttons remain. If you have sat nav you have to buy...

    Aftermarket Catalytic Converter

You can probably just go to your local exhaust fitter and ask them to weld in a generic aftermarket cat, if yours has failed The magnaflow for me works fine but it's nothing special - these aftermarket cats don't have as long a life as the genuine OEM ones but it should last a few years

    Aftermarket Catalytic Converter

I don't think it will fit A couple of points: The Accord sold in the USA is a slightly different car - some elements are the same but some are different. The Mk7/Mk8 accord "euro" was sold as the Acura TSX which is a lot closer to our Accord. There was never a diesel Accord or TSX sold in the...

    Accord CW2

Welcome, hope you are enjoying your car I have a CU2 (saloon), UK supplied but it's mostly the same The audio system I have a lot of experience with (for better and for worse!) - the system is slightly different in the JDM car to my UK supplied one (the components are all in th same places...

    Rear number plate lights issue

Not the most amazing diagram ever but this should give you an idea of the cabling routes From having a read the wiring passes through between the body and the tailgate near the left hand hinge (top left in diagram below) - i'd probably start there as thats often where it gets caught/rubs.

    Rear number plate lights issue

If the fuse is OK (I imagine it possibly is OK as there's a bunch of other stuff controlled on same fuse that you might've noticed also not working), it could be some kind of wiring issue. I know on hatch cars in general the tailgate harness is known for getting worn over time. Probably the next...

[Guide] How to replace the factory sat nav with an aftermarket head unit

I think its necessary to leave it in as the amplifier etc actually connects to the CD changer unit, not the section where the buttons are

[Guide] How to replace the factory sat nav with an aftermarket head unit

It should be possible but you'd likely have to do quite a bit of custom wiring for it There are some Chinese android units on AliExpress I believe that fit where the top nav screen is The issue you'd probably run into is that you need to unplug connectors from the stock head unit in order to...
