    Euro R question

You wouldn't be disappointed with a CL1 Euro-R, they're bloody lovely. Really happy to be using mine as a daily  such a good balance between performance and practicality. Can't complain about the noise from my mugen exhaust either!

    transmission problems

What are the codes? is what you're saying the problem is that your torque converter isn't locking up?

End of road of my atr.

Out of interest did you get the replacement set of front calipers that you were after a little while back? FWIW breaking a car definitely can make more money in the long run, but it can be a ball ache also... I'm breaking 2 cars atm and even with a barn to do it in it's still a pain in the arse!

Where are you based mate? *edit: And as above, what needs sorting on her?

    Washing machine

 yeah, I thought seats down was a given. I think I'd struggle to get a washing machine in the back of my Isuzu without putting the seats down!

    Supercharger conversion

What sort of power are you looking to achieve, and is there a specific reason you want to stick with the Accord and modify it rather than buying a different car which puts out more power as stock? For example, with the money you're budgeting you could get get an imported Subaru Legacy with the...

    Rear Fog Light not working

Are you getting +12v at the bulb holder with the switch turned on? I'd start there and if you don't get a reading then move back through the circuit.

End of road of my atr.

There is definitely a marked difference between the older DOHC VTEC engines and the later I-VTEC engines. I imagine on paper and in real world performance the later engines are better, but the older engines are more fun just for the hooliganism factor - it's a rush when you get that surge of...

    Headlight Restoration

I used the Meguiars kit on my A6, it does a pretty good job. Before: After: It's effort to go through all the grades though. A friend who does bodywork recommends sanding once and then just going over with a decent clear coat (not Halfords), apparently it does just as good a job and is...

    Poor fuel consumption

From memory the 6th gen uses a MAP sensor, not sure if these suffer the same issues that MAF sensors do?

    H.I.D conversion kits

You could retrofit the ATR headlights without the requirement of either headlight washers or the automatic levelling system and not be in contravention of the law. You'll only fail an MOT on not having functioning auto levellers or headlight washers with HID lights present if it is apparent to...

    Washing machine

I've put a washing machine in the boot of my mk2 Golf before, I'd hope that the 8th gen Accord Tourer is a more capable load Luger than my beat up old Golf

    speedometer with miles/km

At one point I used my iPhone in a cradle with a GPS speedo app, that worked pretty well - it wasn't that elegant to look at though  I forgot to mention my main bugbear with using a chip to alter the VSS signal btw, which is that it causes your odometer to contain a mix of miles and...

    speedometer with miles/km

The official requirement for an mph speedometer on import vehicles is dependent on age. If it's under 10 years old it'll need and IVA/SVA (whatever it's called these days!) to be registered here and part of that test is ensuring that the speedometer reads out in mph. If the car is over 10 years...

    GSI Gear box oil?

It needs to be changed at 30,000 mile intervals on these cars iirc, although with a high quality synthetic oil you could probably go longer between changes.

    GSI Gear box oil?

The OP's car is a manual mate ;)

    1998 V6 3 litre Auto box - fix/conversion?

If it's not shifting into specific gears then it could be an issue with the valves/solenoids in the valve body (from my recent experience on another car). If the clutches are knackered then the engine will rev up but the car will barely creep along if at all (again from another recent experience...

    GSI Gear box oil?

Yup the box is designed to use engine oil, and that's why the service interval on the box is so short. You might be able to stretch it out a little longer on fully synth. Or the dedicated MTF's cliff suggest may well be suited (and preferential) provided that their viscosity is a match to 10-40.

    GSI Gear box oil?

A lot of Hondas this age use this grade of oil. Use a high quality synthetic oil and it should be fine, just stick to the recommended service intervals. From memory some people run Amsoil MTF as an upgrade, I've heard Opie Oils touted as a good contact point for oil queries as they really know...

    GSI Fuel filter

I've not got my Accord at home atm but here's the fuel filter setup from my Prelude GSi: From memory they are the same or at least very similar and you will need crush washers for the banjo bolts otherwise they're likely to leak when refitted. A decent 6 sided socket should be ok for the...
