Check for blown door spaekers in the early 8th gens, it's a known issue which is often overlooked when on a test drive. I missed it when I test drove my first 8th gen, but Honda replaced them F.O.C. under the Honda Happiness warranty. I think they fixed the problem in the 2010 models onwards...

Does anyone know how to remove the front fog lamp from an 8th gen Accord?? one of mine is cracked and Honda want £251.40 to replace it, the genuine replacement part is still £180, but if it is a fairly simple process I'd have a go myself and save 70 quid.

I've had my 8th gen EX now for 2 1/2 months and I covered nearly 4K in it (I use it for business) and on the whole I love it, but it does have a few annoyances, no caller display is the most commented on, the inability to dial a number other than by voice, the fact it locks itself after a minute...

Does anyone know if it is possible to manually dial a number using the navigation system? I can dial a number from my phonebook but if I wanted to dial a number I don't have stored the only way I've found to do it is via the phones own keypad.
