    I've been watching this with interest and have ordered the cable and a non satnav display from a breakers. I also have the same genuine Honda/Acura dash panel but I can't work out what trim ring I need as the supplied one with my Kenwood double din is too big.

    I had a civic type r [ep3] steering wheel in my 2001 se saloon that I adapted to take the cruse control buttons from a dc5 import integra. looked good and worked perfectly. B)

    There are no cruise control buttons that fit the ATR wheel unfortunately :( I went for a wheel from an ep3 civic and used the buttons from a us spec DC5 integra. its a straight swap and the airbag wiring just plugs in but you have to cut and re join the 3 wires for the cruise and there not...

    There easy to change but it took 4 s/h ones till I found one that worked properly :huh:.

    ATR steering wheel.

    I fitted a ep3 civic sport steering wheel to mine as its the same as the type r momo one but with a black badge. To keep my cruise control I fitted us spec integra control buttons. B)

    When I fitted my alpine double din I just used the existing brackets and redrilled the holes to suit the alpine. The only cutting I did was to remove the plastic bar from the Honda trim piece that sits between the climate control and the factory radio. The wiring for the heater controls...

    As long as the stud pattern is 4x114.4 they should fit as the offset [et38] and rim width[7j] are both fine. You will need spigot rings to reduce the centre bore down to 64.1.

    Steering Wheel Control

    I've swapped my accord wheel for an ep3 civic sport one and bought a set of cruise control buttons from an American spec dc5/rsx integra. The plastic on the back of the wheel needs cutting and the wiring plugs have to be cut off and the wires soldered together. :huh:

    The trim did come with it yes,I was planning on sticking the alpine trim to the Honda one and filling and painting it so it looks like one piece. B)

    That's a euro r as the console and dash are slightly different to the uk model.

    The ultrasonics are on the b post above the drivers seatbelt. I think my double din looks less obvious than the cd player I had fitted before. B)
