    1st thing you need to do is get the cars ECU back to stock, that way it will be able to produce all the fault codes it was designed to do. Then you'll stand a better chance of the car picking up the relevant fault code to indicate the problem.

    Who told you part number 57110-SEF-E610-M1 was a revised one? There are around 10 models of the original unit which all contain the faulty sensor. You need to be very certain of which are and aren't upgraded units.

    57110-SEF-E610-M1 is not an upgraded part. It's the same number as the one on mine, which is original, and contains the defective sensor.

    Looks more like the engine is in limp home mode and the EML is stopping the engine from revving. Get the EML code read and find out what the fault code is.

    Having the EGR off remap does significantly increase the amount of black smoke coming out the exhaust. You're not the 1st to mention this. It's normal for the remap.
