As above, I personally would not bother with the Y cable, since fitting Xcarlink in mine ( I bought the Y cable aswell) I have never bothered with the CD changer and Xcarlink interferes with it anyway and it makes an awful feedback noise anyway

What ive always wondered if it is an equalizer under the passenger seat, why (to my knowledge anyway ) can't it be adjusted like a normal stereo eq can be? Ive always thought (and it has already been mentioned) that the sound quality is flat with no warmth, kind of like the 'flat' eq setting on...

I'd say battery aswell, which should not discharge whilst being driven so as above if you can check alternator and connections Ive had dash displays do funny things in the past which turned out to be the battery

Nice one mate B) I was the same a few years back, always the first thing I did whenever I got a new motor, pulled out the stock stuff and fitted aftermarket, nowadays I just can't be bothered :lol:
