    AirPlay/DLNA Wireless Music

It would be the same for me as I wouldn't connect it directly to the battery for fear of draining it overnight!

    AirPlay/DLNA Wireless Music

Ah hope it doesn't drop out :(. How does hard wiring help boot time? I'll have it always plugged in for the time being (until I'm brave enough to attack the car)

    AirPlay/DLNA Wireless Music

Listening to music in my car when I think "I could do with linking my phone wirelessly to play music instead of fiddling with aux cables". The solution is a bluetooth receiver, of course. But I don't like bluetooth and have had many problems with interference on bluetooth speakers and such. And...

Any Ideas? Enters Limp Mode randomly since DPF regen

How much did it cost when you took it in? After a while you need to do forced regens (done by Honda) which are about £90. When it gets to this stage it's on its way out and will need to be replaced (about £1000). Do yourself a favour and get that crap out of your engine.

Bread Crumbs on Honda Sat Nav

Have you tried toggling off-road tracking to off and back on again? When on the map, press Menu, push the centre wheel to the right twice to get to Settings Screen 2, scroll down to Vehicle and it's in there.

8th gen almost gets totalled by biker!

This is why I can't stand motorcyclists, if he'd have hit that car think of the consequences for the driver

    Dashboard Light/Symbol Identification

The night/day symbol is how many days are left (estimated) until the next service is due. It should give a number or letter indicating which service it is. See if you can Google Honda service codes, may be able to barter the price considering it's money you'll potentially be forking out

    Recommended LED Sidelights?

Regarding number plate lights, I've literally just done this tonight. Open up boot lid and remove the 4 plastic pop rivets along the front edge (the one in the middle you need to unscrew with a philips screwdriver). You don't need to remove the whole thing, open it up and you'll see white...

    Clutch Replacement

Scott, not necessarily. The reason I have this problem is because I took the car to some where non-Honda to repair, so Honda are getting funny about working on it. If yours is wearing out prematurely, you're in the position to complain to Honda and plea for a serious discount from them to cover...

    Replacing Side Light

Just bought some upgraded side lights for my motor, how on earth do you fit them?! I can unplug them but not actually remove them. Anytime I search Google I just get older models or American versions :@ Has anyone done theirs?

    Recall Windshield Side Trims Lifting

Had mine done the other day, they cracked my windscreen whilst doing it so I got a free windscreen out of it :D

    Clutch Replacement

When you say Honda and LUK are the same thing, what do you mean? Because the garage are (apparently) LUK approved and use LUK DMFs

Any tips on buying a second hand 8th Gen Accord?

The DPF works by collecting excess particles from the exhaust fumes, it keeps actual emissions out of the exhaust pipe down and thus gives the car a lower tax band. When it gets clogged up the regeneration light will appear on the information screen. The normal warning (without an exclamation...

    HiDs

AFAIK the EX GT comes with the red ambient lighting, others don't. I've changed my centre console one to blue anyway as the red (more like amber, when you can find it) doesn't do it for me. The EX GT also comes with the Xenons (with headlight washers to comply with law), I don't have ADAS on...

    Clutch Replacement

Nothing makes me think the flywheel needs replacing, I was told it needed it. I don't know the first thing about clutches so I have to trust a garage, which has stung me hard.

    Clutch Replacement

Hi all, first post. In July last year I had my clutch and flywheel replaced, however not by a Honda dealer. To cut a long story short, had problems with the garage that fitted it because they screwed it up the first time and I ended up in a massive argument with the garage manager. The reason I...
