    2004 i-ctdi build from Bulgaria

PWM controller for the blower fan is working. But I'm getting an F-Can error and a fault code leading to limp mode. Currently I'm working on a solution to cut the PWM controller from the HVAC car's unit and I hope the error will fanish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BcObu1s5AA

    2004 i-ctdi build from Bulgaria

The Webasto heater is almost ready. It's installed and working, only a GSM communicator and a PWM driver need to be installed. The GSM is start the heater remotely and the PWM driver will control the blower motor. It's needed to run the motor on 20-30% power, so the consumption to be as low as...

The bmw steeting wheel is for e46 and will be used on e46. I just practice the technology to do the form change. So now I'm working on a civic steering wheel to do the same as the bmw one. The dimension are of the core itself.

    2004 i-ctdi build from Bulgaria

Well, it's not so easy. I've already trimmed lot of the bumper in order to free up some space for the cooler itself. The problem was that the hoses and the pipes were bumping in the fog lights. I've trimmed there too, and free some space, but it wasn't enough. So I bough some more angle hoses...

    2004 i-ctdi build from Bulgaria

Still lots of work left to be done. Piping is just behind the fog lights, pushing a bit the bumper and almost impossible to put it back. So this weekend I will redo the piping and put them below the fog lights. The intercooler is 550x180x66 with 63mm outlets. Those are reduced to 51mm, so from...

Hey, after my thead about transplanting facelift sat nav to pre-facelift, I decided to open a new thread, where I will post all my new stuff regarding my Accord. Last weekend I removed the OEM intercooler and put an aftermarket one. My idea was to free up some space, so I will be able to...

    CTDi Hybrid Turbo Install

Hi, I'm going to change the intercooler with 550x180x65mm with 63mm outlets. I will change the turbo and the exhaust manifold soon after, but now I want to change the intercooler first, so when I remove the OEM one, enought space will free up and I will install Webasto heater. So I'm really...

    Sat Nav

Hi, cleaning the laser is not 100% guarantee that it will start reading DVDs. I've tried to clean it, tried with several discs and finally I've changed the whole DVD mechanism and optics - http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/20304-facelift-sat-navi-on-prefacelift-ctdi-2004/page-2#entry234315

Facelift Sat-navi on prefacelift ctdi 2004

I didn't try the CAN-H and CAN-L lines but I've changed the DVD drive optics and mechanism. Everything works great now. Reading not only OEM DVDs but also those coming right out of my DVD writer :D It's reading DVD-R and DVD+R also. And one question, why dritin's language screen looks...

Facelift Sat-navi on prefacelift ctdi 2004

Hi, the touchscreen will work only with facelift HVAC unit and facelift unit. If one of them is mismatched, the touchscreen is not working due to different protocols. I'm not sure if the GPS problem is related with the CAN Bus, I'm still receiving DVD reading error time by time and I'm not using...

    satnav swap

Hey, I've done a pre-facelift swap to a facelift one. The problems you could face are the wiring looms. You will need the DVD-ROM Sat unit. Which is not just a DVD reader, but the Navigation "brain". So you will need the loom between the DVD_ROM and the Touchscreen display. The other harnesses...

Tablet as Navigation and sound system?

It;s not bad but not the most convenient way. If your car hasn't an OEM SatNav - it's not a bad idea. If you already has one, it's more convenient to use the OEM Display and touchscreen to use aftermarket SatNavi software, bluetooth, carPC etc. Currently I'm working on such a device. This...
