7th Gen lower control arm replacement

If you have no play with the lower ball joints then just fit the lower control arms. I have done mine in 2015 and I had no play with my ball joints. I went for the Eurocarparts Q-Drive special because I was not really fussed (this car is just used for random jobs), it was better than any broken...

7th Gen - What have you done today?

    Sticky caliper

I think it's best to replace with a refurbished one and get some money back from trading in your old one. I have tried the rebuild method... didn't last longer.

What other cars have people got/had

Yeah... the supercharger is awesome, crazy fast. Maintenance and electrical gremlins are not too bad. There were some issues when I first bought the car but I have sorted them (the internet is a powerful tool lol). Now I just fill up and drive.

    Not happy with the brakes

If no leaks then keep bleeding the system. My mate's old Civic had an issue with spongy brake feel, we bled the system numerous times before we got that solid brake feel again.

    steamy windows

Run the air con system as it should and check for water dripping from underneath the car, this will show you whether the evaporator is blocked. Dripping water = the evaporator is not blocked.

    Intermittent Air-Con Issue

When I bought my Accord the A/C was not working, here are the steps I took to get it working. 1) A/C on... No cold air and the A/C compressor was not kicking in 2) A/C re-gas... Showed no leaks, however, the A/C compressor still did not kick in 3) I swapped the A/C relays around and boom... A/C...

Accord parked up for weeks on end - advice requested!

If your wife can take it for a drive once a week that would be good. Past experience has shown me problems occur when the car is not used, unless you have a nice warm garage to store it. I remember my rear calipers on my old EK Civic were starting to seize due to lack of use.
